The Involution Of The Bronze Cultures Of Northern China, Which Located At The Both Sides Of Mountain Tai'hang And The Inter-promotive Relationship Between The Bronze Cultures Of Northern China And The Bronze Cultures Of Central Plain

Up till now, the Chinese archaeology has already witnessed more than eighty years' development. It has formed quite many persuasive conclusions about the archaeology cultures of central plain during the pre-Chin dynasties. With the advent of new primitive materials and the further improvement of research work, the Inter-promotive Relationship between the central area and the marginal area has become the research emphasis of both history and archaeology. Therefore, investigating the relationship between the bronze culture of Northern China and the bronze culture of central plain is indispensable to the further academic development. This dissertation has chosen the neighboring area of Tai'hang Mountain, including the provinces of Shan'xi He'bei Bei'jing Tian'jin, the Northern part of Shan'xi and the southern part of Nei'menggu, because this area is characterized by the long-term integration between the bronze culture of Northern China and the bronze culture of central plain. This dissertation categorized the basic type of archaeological cultures of this geographical area, and then, discussed some essential problems, such as the variation of the archaeological cultures within this area during the pre-Chin dynasties, the involution of the bronze culture of Northern China, and the governing policies imposed upon the Northern area which was adopted by the central plain dynasties.Generally speaking, this dissertation can be divided into five chapters.The first chapter is introduction. This chapter discussed the geographical scope of this dissertation, retrospected the previous research work about this area, and at meanwhile, pointed out the intrinsic problems lies in these research outcomes. Furthermore, this theory also indicated the basic theory, the researching methods and the aim of this dissertation.
