This paper is focus on the aesthetic culture of Xian-Qin habiliments. Ancient China is called as "the kingdom of dress and hat", and a great deal of ancient literature, classical poetry, archeological information, and ancient pictures have told us rich and colorful modalities of ancient China dress and ornaments. The age of Xian-Qin was the early phase of the Chinese cultural consciousness, and the historical phase is most important for the development of the Chinese ancient dress and ornaments. Shang Dynasty was the time for germination of the aesthetic culture of ancient dress and ornaments. There was a mature system of clothes and hat in the Dynasty of Xi-Zhou. The aesthetic idealities of dress and ornaments have appeared in the age of Chun-Qiu and the age of Zhan-Guo. This paper has reviewed and analyzed the aesthetic culture of the five ages: remote antiquity, Shang Dynasty, the Dynasty of Xi-Zhou, the age of Chun-Qiu, and the age of Zhan-Guo.The paper tried to integrate the historical description of Xian-Qin habiliments' aesthetic culture with the structural analyses of Xian-Qin habiliments' aesthetic culture. The ratiocinations and the objective evidences were given in the paper to analyze and describe the aesthetic culture of the Xian-Qin dress and ornaments. There are two questions put for people who want to analyses the aesthetic of the ancient China habiliments. The first question is why people of the old age had taken this one but not that one for aesthetic choice, and the second question was how the dress and ornaments had actualized the function of clearing the social degree and honoring the morality as a symbol. The early clothes for the human being was a general and whole dress in both the ancient Occident and the ancient China, but during the development of the habiliments there are great differences had appeared between the ancient China the ancient Occident. Why had the differences appeared, and how did the ancient Chinese habiliments distinguish the social grades as a cultural symbol? The paper has been trying to answer the two questions.To answer the two questions, the paper discuss the relation between the aesthetic culture of Xian-Qin habiliments with the social construction of special age and the relation between aesthetic culture of Xian-Qin habiliments with the cultural construction of special age. In the structural analyses, the paper has also discussed the influence of the national psychological construction and the national made of thinking.
