The subject of the paper is the Influenee of the Reader of Puissance and Authority to Chinese Literature. The object of research mainly concerns the notable or well-known persons on politics, literature and learning. These people have close relation with the development of Chinese literature. The way of the research is to compare and analyze these people's influence to authors and their works, and common readers.The reader of puissance and authority may be divided to the two types: One is the type of political power; another is the type of literature and learning. The influence of the former is greater than the latter to Chinese literature in some history period. On the other hand, the two types can influence each other.With the angle of view of the reader of puissance and authority to research Chinese contemporary literature is differ from the study of literary history, the study of history of literary thought, the research of authors and works, and the research of readers criticizing. The readers are the special readers who have complicated political background and many characteristic. Therefore the research of the reader of puissance and authority relates to plural studies, and many angles of view including politics, economy, culture, democracy and legal system.In Chinese contemporary literature, the phenomena of the reader of puissance and authority have some Chinese characteristics. These characteristics not only have close relation with different development period of Chinese socialism and Chinese mainstream's political thought, but also have affiliation with planned economy of socialism and market economy.There are four kinds of literary phenomena in Chinese contemporary literature. They are Mainstream literature, Non-mainstream literature that is under the mainstream thought, Non-mainstream literature, and a variety of literatures. The four kinds of literary phenomena have relation with the change of influence of reader of puissance and authority. In some special period of history, the greatest influence to the development of Chinese contemporary literature is not from authors, works and common readers, but the reader of puissance and authority. They can decide the development direction of Chinese literature and the fate of authors and works.The paper has five chapters besides introduction and conclusion. The paper analyses the evolvement of the reader of puissance and authority, researches their influence and changes. In the introduction, it explains the meaning of the research on the theory and practice, point outs the way of the research, and reviews the information and data about some researches that former scholars have made. Through the review to explain the research to the reader of puissance and authority is an original research to Chinese literature.In the chapter one, the paper makes a summary to the evolvement of authors and readers in Chinese ancient and contemporary literature, concludes the three main characters and traits about the evolvement, makes a basal definition to the readers of puissance and authority, and analyses the identity of the readers, their changes in history and characteristic of their thoughts.In the chapter two, the paper analyses the traits of the readers' thought, their literary ideas and influence, and experience of their life, such as Lu Xun, Mao Ze-dong, Guo Mo-ruo, Ba Jin, Zho Yang and Yao Wen-yuan. The chapter compares both the types of the readers of political power and learning, and analyses the phenomena of Zhou Yang and the phenomena Yao Wen-yuan.In the chapter three, it analyses the changes of influence of the readers and their different influence in different areas. The chapter compares and analyses the phenomena of readers of puissance and authority in the literature of world, and points out the relations between political influence and literary composition, explains evolvement of literary works' style and key words. The chapter compares and analyzes the different ideology between "the three unities" in western classical literature and "the three emphasizing" in Chinese contemporary literature.In the chapter four, the chapter analyzes the universality and particularity about the phenomena of the readers of puissance and authority, rethinks the phenomena that has some relations with democracy and legal system, with literary criticism and acception aesthetics. Through analyzing the negative effects of the phenomena, the chapter summarizes some historical lessons and some instructive experience.In the conclusion, the paper summarizes and concludes the research of reader of puissance and authority. The research is a new study to Chinese contemporary literature. The research tries to analyze some topics that have already studied and discussed by some scholars more or less, but they do not study from the view of the reader of puissance and authority to discuss the topics. The research hopes to open a new angle of view to further study Chinese contemporary literature.
