Stuart Hall's contribution is central to any notions of radical cultural politics, crucial precondition for understanding the struggle over meaning, power, and identity in public sphere. Hall's work becomes particularly important not only in making education crucial to the practice of cultural studies by providing a valuable theoretical service, but also in amplifying political correctness to recent attacks on cultural politics, As Hall's suggestions that intellectual resources in order to understand and transform what keeps making the lives we live, and societies we live in, profoundly and deeply antihumane in the capacity to live with difference, this thesis functions Hall's framework so as to build up China harmonious multicultural society.This dissertation is to probe into Stuart Hall's framework and stress its great significance of cultural politics. With a brief introduction of Hall's diasporic formation and tendency, this thesis focuses on Hall's politics of difference which systematically addresses his point of post-identity in multicultural society, and deconstruction discourse by marginalized groups in globalized modern world . This thesis makes reinforcement that Hall is the origin and the most influential figure in Cultural Studies, and first time in China Academic field to define Stuart Hall as the Father of Cultural Studies. Hall's dynamic cultural theories obviously will stimulate more understanding of political agency and arouse public consciousness by establishing Media Literacy or Public Pedagogy, and Museum Study in China.
