This article studies the theory of human nature of the Han Dynasty from two aspects: one discusses important thinkers and books' theory of human nature in the Han Dynasty and two analyses inner development, characteristic, historical role, reality influence of theory of human nature of the Han Dynasty.The introduction passes discrimination to modem human nature concept, points out whose deficiency, bring forward the theory of the human nature of the thesis including three aspects mainly: the origin, improvement, good and evil of the human nature.The upper paper includes five chapter contents. the first chapter mainly discusses the theory of human nature of Jia Yi, Han Ying and "Huai Nan Zi"'s, thinks that theory of human nature at the beginning of the Western Han Dynasty one aspect inherits and develops pre-Qin's theory of human nature viewpoint, another aspect has also opened up new territory to some extent.The second , third and fourth chapters discussing the theory of human nature from the middle period of the Western Han Dynasty to the the middle period of Eastern Han Dynasty are that theory of human nature of the Han Dynasty establishes its characteristic, furhter developing and becoming divided. The second chapter maily discusses the theory of human nature in the middle period of the Western Han , thinks Dong Zhong-shu's theory has accomplishes the fundanmental change from pre-Qin Confucian to the Han Dynasty and occupies important position on the Han Dynasty's and Chinese theory of human nature history.The third chapter discusses the theory of the later Western Han Dynasty, firstly studies Yang Xiong and Liu Xiang's theory of human nature and believes the Confucian existing different viewpoint against official theory of human nature; Secondly "Lao Zi Zhi Gui" and points out theory of human nature's origin and judgement of good and evil to the human nature having basis change against the pre-Qin Dao Jia's theory.The Fourth chapter studies theory of human nature in the former period of the Eastern Han Dynasty, thinks "Bai Hu Tong"inherits Dong Zhong-shu's main theory and develops some aspects at the same time, this inheriting and developing enriches the theory of human nature of government's.Wang Chong is different from the Confucian theory of human nature in many aspects.The fifth chapter which studies the later stage theory of human nature's changes includes two sections, the first discusses Confucian theory of human nature which including Wang Fu, Zhao Qi, Zheng Xuan, Xun Yue, thinks the Confucian inherit some viewpoints before them and brings some new concepts at the other hand, and have important influence on the WeiJin period. The second section which includes "Lao Zi He Shang Gong Zhu", "Lao Zi Xiang Er Zhu"and and'Tai Ping Jing"discusses Dao Jia and Taoism's theory of human nature, thinks their judgement about human nature is not equal and reflects the change from pre-Qin to the Han Dynasty.The under paper includes four chapter contents. The sixth chapter which is the theory of human nature of development and change thinks that there are three stages in the Han Dynasty: the beginning of the Western Han Dynasty inherits and develops to the pre-Qin period, from the middle period of the Western Han Dynasty to the Eastern Han Dynasty is development, change and dividing ,the later stage of the Eastern Han Dynasty is change, among them there is official and unofficial mutuality affects within the second periods. Three stages and two clues are the fundamental way for the article to understand the theory of human nature of the Han Dynasty.The seventh chapter suming up the characteristic of theory of human nature of the Han Dynasty, thinks theory of human nature of the Han Dynasty displays four aspects characteristic mainly: the origin from Cosmology, the judgement of the human nature being good and feeling being evil, the interactive between human nature and governing means, human nature's three ranks.The eighth chapter which discusses historical roles of the Han Dynasty theory of human nature includes two section, firstly analyses inheriting and development theory of human nature of the Han Dynasty by contrast pre-Qin and the second influence on other dynasty, thinking it is exact to say the historical role of the theory of human nature of the Han Dynasty with inheritance,development and diversion.The ninth chapter studies theory of human nature of the Han Dynasty's reality affects from three aspects: constraint of the Li to human nature by emphasing Li's origin from human nature and feeling, different governing means influencing good or evil of the human nature and the emperor's choice to the teaching, the affect of the social custom to the human nature and the government's emphasis on the progress of the social custom.
