The chapter also discusses the particularity and significance of the calligraphical decoration in the cliff inscriptions on the Chinese landscape culture.Chapter Four investigates the decoration of Chinese calligraphy in the ancient architecture, discussing the formal developments, and the rules, the cultural and social characteristics of the plane and space structure.
