This paper represents an effort and approach to making a moderate academic probe into the issue Other Ego, which is proposed by Edmund Husserl, and its implications for the primary philosophical understanding of certain public affairs. The study is based on the analysis on the classic texts Cartesian Meditations, especially the Fifth Meditation, and some other related texts such as Logic Investigation, Ideas Pertaining to a Pure Phenomenology and to a Phenomenological Philosophy, are also given reasonable considerations regarding to the topic Other Ego.This work consists of a total of five parts, namely Preface, Chapter 1-3 and a Conclusion. At the beginning part of this paper, a comprehensive introduction is give on the text Cartesian Meditations and special focus is put on the so-called Fifth Meditation, while other four meditations are also given a moderate examination in the light of its significations relating to the problem of Other Ego. This part serves as the academic horizon and background of the subsequent studies.Chapterâ… puts its unique emphasis on the basic conceptions and key units clarified by Husserl in the Fifth Meditation, of which the way of its self-presenting of others is taken into careful account. Besides, a comparative study on the basic differences among transcendental and naturalistic logics is impressive and comprehensive. In Chapterâ…¡, focus is imposed on the other four parts of the text Cartesian Meditations, which are usually regarded as a basic and brief introduction of the whole meaning and significance of the thinking system of Husserl. A view is supported that the other four meditations are also the academic fountains for the further understanding of the topic Other Ego.Chapterâ…¢can be somewhat recognized as the developments and further explication of the original texts of Husserl, in which part some topics relating to Public Philosophy, social affairs and even political discourse are given an transcendentalism interpretation, and the possibility of introducing a bridging comprehension over the transcendentalism and naturalism are conformed. The question of the actual existence of Other Ego plays a key role in the constitution of the common sense relating to the public affairs as well as the mutual understanding among people.I, as subject, could only perceive and recognize others according to my original existence-format, of which functions Reason and Sensibility are mixed and mutually echoed, and the significance of issues on Certainty, Possibility among social and political affairs is attentively discussed.
