The contemporary spirit of the political and ideological education to Chinese Communist cadres is essential to the existence and development of the cadres' political and ideological education. This is not only the requirement that the political and ideological education asks for the tendency of the day but the vitality of the education. Therefore, the study on the contemporary spirit of the political and ideological education to cadres becomes an important subject with theoretical significance and realistic urgency. From the viewpoint of the tendency of the day, the thesis concentrates on "the contemporary spirit of the political and ideological education to cadres" proceeding from the influence the tendency of the times has on the education. Its main points are to analyze the issues the education confronts and the solutions it can offer in the new era. On the other hand, for a long time, the political and ideological education to cadres has put an emphasis on the monotony of the teaching content, the similarity of teaching requirements and idealities of teaching goals, hence, it neglects the diverse requirements of the objects, the differences among their political and ideological qualities and their levels of morality. Owing to this, the paper means to return to the nature of the education and discuss the requirements and solutions the developments of the world, the state, the Communist Party and the cadre group offer to the education from the viewpoint of the ideological reality of the objects. Moreover, in light of the partiality of most existing related studies, the paper conducts a comprehensive and systematical research on the major factors that influence the thoughts of China Communist cadres, the challenges to the political and ideological education to China Communist cadres confronts with and the solutions to how to strengthen the education. It is creative of the paper to make every effort to deepen the study on the contemporary spirit of the education. The paper consists of three parts, introduction, the body part and conclusion.In the introduction part, the author starts with close examination on the meaning of the political and ideological education to cadres, and then illustrates the existing researches conducted abroad and at home on the education, and their problems. This expounds the theoretical significance and practical value of the study on the tendency of the political and ideological education to China Communist cadres. Furthermore, the author lists the relevant definitions and the intentions of "the contemporary spirit of the political and ideological education to cadres."All theses lay a solid base for the body part.The first chapter elucidates the position and function the contemporary spirit takes in and plays on the political and ideological education to cadres, which are the fundamental theoretical base and the logical starting point. The part deeply analyzes the role the contemporary spirit plays in generation, existence and development of the political and ideological education to cadres, so as to suggest the value of the contemporary spirit has on the systematization and effects of the education. It also points out that the contemporary spirit is the premise, the realistic base, the domain and motivation that the contemporary spirit contributes to the education in order to maintain that the contemporary spirit is the internal requirement of the systematization of the education and basis to make effects. In a word, the part provides theoretical basis and framework for the further study on the political and ideological education to cadres in the new era.Chapter two is a historical observation on the contemporary spirit of the political and ideological education to China Communist cadres. First, the author clarifies practically and realistically the theories of the political and ideological education to cadres China Communist Party has proposed in different periods and their practical effects. In this way, the author summarizes the main experiences China Communist cadres has got in holding the tendency of the day during the cadre education and held the idea that the contemporary spirit is premise and foundation of the success to the cadre education on politics and ideology.Chapter three illustrates the profound changes of the international situation that the political and ideological education to cadres faces. The part analyzes the influence that the changes of international politics, economics, cultural environment and so forth have on the thoughts of cadres. Accordingly, it points out the profound changes of the international situation in the new era come up with new requirements, that is, to strengthen the communist belief of most Communist cadres, calls for the central theme on socialism and collectivism, keep to the style of hard struggle and plain living, and enhance the political sensitivity and the ability to differentiate.Chapter four focuses on our social and economic development in the new era that the political and ideological education to cadres confronts with. The part suggests the impact that current factors makes on the cadres'thoughts, diversifying culture and stratifying social relations. To accommodate to those changes the part demonstrates the demands our social and economic development makes on the construction of the politics and ideology among the cadre group. The demands are to strengthen the consciousness of what they should do, Chinese Communist Party, service to other people, democracy, legality, citizenship, national cultures and advanced culture and so on.Chapter five analyzes the self-developmental changes in the new era that the political and ideological education faces. It illustrates the influence those factors put on the cadres'thoughts like the historical position of Chinese Communist Party, its ruling environment, its ruling base, its cadre group. It sets out the requests the self-developmental changes of Chinese Communist Party ask for the politics and ideology among the cadre group, that is, to purify the cadre group, enhance the consciousness of the reign of the government and the sense of unexpected development, and cultivate their qualities of being a good party member.Chapter six shows the necessity to reform the political and ideological education to cadres intensively by means of maintaining the contemporary spirit. The part summarizes the major achievements in the new era that the cadre education of Chinese Communist Party makes. It also analyses the problems existing in the present political and ideological education. Correspondingly, the author puts forward that the education should create new education beliefs to meet the tendency of the day, enrich and perfect its content, set the teaching goals systematically, choose creative teaching methods, reconstruct the faculty, and explore a working system to keep the education advancing with the times. All these are solutions to those problems.The conclusion lays stress on the importance, particularity and complexity of the political and ideological education to cadres. It indicates the important role the exploration to the rules of the education, and also it lists the limitations of the present study and its recommendations for the future study.
