Research Of Land Use Changes And Sustainable Land Management In Fuzhou

AbstractLand-use/coverage change (LUCC), which requires the research of macro and mid-small regional scale, is an important part of global-change research. Fuzhou, with its most areas m low-hilly rewons and its growing-fast economy, is very deferent from other areas at home and abroad. It is similar to the comparatively developed costal areas in the southeast of China while its interior disparity is very apparent, therefore, it is very typical and representative in LUCC research. Combining the research of land-use change with land sustainable utilization, natural factors with social-economic factors, the paper quantitatively analyses the effects of structure of land-use and its drive-forces and mechanism in Fuzliou supported by mathematic methods and some technique such as RS, (IIS and GPS, and then puts forward some practical ways and strategies for land sustainable utilization in Fuzhou. The findings of this study provide not only a case study for large-scale LUCC research, but also scientific basis for the drawing-up and carrying-out of scheme of land sustainable utilization in Fuzhou.
