This dissertation mainly studies the natural monopolistic industrial organization in China takes water supplying, gas supplying through pipeline, railway transportation, electric power and telecom industries as examples in China. There are seven chapters all together. Chapter 1 brings forward the thesis of this dissertation, gives a general dissertation of the present research, the theory basic, study methods, most viewpoints and the innovation. Chapter 2 studies the theories of natural monopoly industry, industrial organization and regulation on the basis of their inwnanent relation. Chapter 3 mainly studies the market structure of the natural monopolistic industrial organization in China. Taking water supplying industry and other aforementioned industries as examples, educed that the natural monopolistic industrial organization in China has multi-ypes market structures, such as monopolistic, regional monopolistic, oligarchy monopolistic and competitive market structure. And its primary characters are administrative monopoly, having problems in carving up the natural monopoly operation and nonatural monopoly operation and market block out. Chapter 4 mainly studies the market conduct of the natural monopolistic industrial organization in China , from the viewpoint of the market structure having influence on the market conduct. This chapter educed that the market conduct of the natural monopolistic industrial organization in China should be ameliorated, that the market conduct of the natural monopolistic industrial organization in China has low-ying, excessive, insufficient and malfeasant competition and so on mainly states from the background of the transforming economy in China.
