| Investment fund as a new investment tool,originated from United Kingdom in 19th century. Investment fund industry has been developed in the developed countries and areas. Following the economic internationalization and financial internationalization,innovation and development of world financial industry. Investment fund industry has been developed so quickly. According to the American Investment Company Institution statistics,all kinds of funds are amount to more than ten thousand,total funds assets are amount to 7000 billion US dollars in all of the world investment fund industry.With the development of the securities market came the chines investment fund industry in 90's of 20th century. The more than six years history of the fund industry is composed of two periods in China,with the enforcement of "Interim Measures For The Management Of Securities Investment Funds" issued on November 14,1997 as its dividing line. Although sort history of Chinese investment fund industry,many fields need studied in the development of the investment fund industry. So Study on the Operation Mechanisms of Chinese Investment Fund Industry is very important.Study on the Operation Mechanisms of this paper are mainly including Mechanism of setting up of institution,Mechanism of risk control,Mechanism of the law system,and Mechanism of regulation and self-regulation etc.For analysis and research the operation mechanism of investment fund industry in different financial environment. This paper is active in using the research method of the test and comparative,the inductive and deductive,based on the theory of comparative economics,the modern portfolio theory,the theory of trade cost,the theory of corporate control,the theory of financial innovation,and some others law etc.This dissertation includes seven chapters,is amount to about 168 thousand words.Chapter one,as an introduction of this dissertation,revealed the methods of research,the objects,train of thoughts,the structure and main research achievements of my thesis.Chapter two discussed the financial efficiency of investment fund industry. This chapter analyzes the rule of investment fund industry in financial fields ofcapital market development,and using foreigner capital etc.Chapter three probed into the mechanism of the setting up operation institutions. Focus on the risk research,fair and efficiency of establishment of fund management company. The model of custodian bank.Chapter four studied risk inter- control of main operation institutions of investment fund industry. Discussed the risk control in fund manager,custodian,and financial intermediary with the investment fund industry respectively.Chapter five researched law system of investment fund industry. Comparative the different model and system of regulation and law of the developed countries or regions. Some suggestions have been provided for Chinese investment fund industry.Chapter six analyzes the model,mechanism,efficiency and functions of supervisor,the rule of self-regulatory mechanism,how to established the systems of regulatory and self-regulatory on investment fund industry.Chapter seven probed into development strategies and interrelate operate mechanism.
