Business Capacity Study

Accompanying with the new economy era represented by knowledge economy and information technology, the developing trend of global market integration, digitalization of enterprise's survival and international business competition will bring unprecedented challenges to the traditional enterprise operation and management modes. The enterprise's learning capacity, reaction speed and adaptability will replace the traditional funds scale, market share and indicators of assets income ratio and become the important factors for an enterprise's success.As to developing Chinese enterprises, with the shift of management environment for enterprises, our enterprises are transiting from the elementary phase of market economy to comparatively mature market economy. During this process of development, we will simultaneously confront double challenges from strife business both at home and abroad, which will undoubtedly require enterprise to transfer from the former opportunity operation in the initial stage of market economy to capacity management, i.e., to reinforce the enterprise's comprehensive competitive advantages by strengthening the enterprise's core capacity and systematic capacity.However after participating researches of management practices fro Chinese enterprises, we have found that, for developing Chinese enterprises, the prerequisite to improve capacity is the shift of the enterprises' consciousness, i.e., the main body of ours enterprise consciousness should form the concept of the standard of enterprise's capacity, but not to go into the exploration course for rare resources of enterprise and core capacity and fall into the thought of unidirectional enterprise's capacity.Then in which aspect shall we need to shift consciousness and improve capacity in the stage of new economy development? Why the discussion that the capacity is the basic one under the guidance of consciousness is brought forward? This is the theme that this article researches and is also the theoretical breakthrough and practice value that should be pursued during the process of research.This article, taking the development of new economy as its background, the successful shift of international excellent enterprises as reference and combining the practical operation of enterprises, systematically discusses the new requirements for Chinese enterprises' consciousness and management capacity by economic development (Piece 2); and on the basis of demonstration discussion of enterprises'consciousness and capacity theory (Piece 3), profoundly analyses the major disparity between Chinese enterprises' consciousness and management capacity (Piece 4); and brings forwards the constructive thought for Chinese enterprises to shift consciousness and improve capacity (Piece 5).Seen from the perspective of logics and contents, this article is divided into five pieces and sixteen chapters.The First Piece, the introduction, gives a general introduction to the reason to choose this topic, the objective and the significance of the research, and at the same time expounds the means of research and the innovation of research in this article.Piece Two further clarifies the new requirements for Chinese enterprises' consciousness and management capacity during the stage of the development of new economy, by analyzing the new economic development environment and background confronted by Chinese enterprises and the conclusion of tendency changes taken place in the field of the enterprises' management and operation.On the basis of looking back to and analyzing the theoretical discussion on enterprise capacity concluded by the predecessors, Piece Three combines with the reality of the operation by Chinese enterprises and puts forward new understanding of the theory of enterprise capacity, i.e., the idea that the capacity under the guidance of consciousness is the basis.
