Studies Of "Socialism With Japanese Characteristics" Of Japanese Communist Party

Guided by Marxism, the dissertation mainly probes the theory and practice of "socialism with Japanese characteristics" of the Communist Party of Japan. The dissertation comprises six parts: the preface, the choices of revolutionary road of "socialism with Japanese characteristics", the basic theoretical views of "socialism with Japanese characteristics", the main practical activities of "socialism with Japanese characteristics", the development prospects of "socialism with Japanese characteristics" and the conclusion. The major contents are as following:The preface illustrates the research values and the current research situation of the selected subject, and the frame and structure, the way of thinking and method, the innovation and difficult points of the dissertation.Chapter 1: the choices of revolutionary road of "socialism with Japanese characteristics". This chapter expounds the tortuous probe by the Communist Party of Japan since the end of the World War II as to how to gain the revolutionary victory. The first is "peaceful revolution under occupation" which means that under the occupation by U.S.A. at the initial stage after the war, Japanese revolution can be realized peacefully by relying on the strength of the occupation troops. The second is "violent revolution under occupation" which means that socialist revolution can be achieved only through violent revolution after the outbreak of Korean War. The third is "to strive for peaceful revolution" which holds that it is possible to gain the revolutionary victory through either violent or peaceful way under the existing conditions of Japan, but the Communist Party should strive to achieve the goal through peaceful way. The fourth is "people's parliament doctrines" which holds that with the improvement of Japanese capitalist democratic systems, the Communist Party of Japan can acknowledge multi-party system and the power alternation system through general election, and gain the steady majority in the Congress, thus becoming the party in power and setting up democratic coalition government and realizing socialism. This is also an important part of the political theory of "socialism with Japanese characteristics". The fifth is "democratic reform in the capitalist frame" which holds that in the era of economic globalization, national monopoly capitalism has already offered the available conditions for realizing socialism in Japan and after the Communist Party of Japan becomes the party in power, it only needs to change the passive aspect of capitalism to realize mankind's "common society"on the basis of carrying on "all values and achievements" of capitalism. At last, the chapter points out that every choice of the revolutionary road of the Communist Party of Japan is closely related to Japan's domestic and international environments and the international communist movement at that time, and reflects certain experiences and lessons and also deeply reflects the law of the negation of negation and the law and features of cognition development.Chapter 2: the basic theoretical views of "socialism with Japanese characteristics".
