Research On Sustainable Development Of Agriculture In The Upper Reaches Of The Yangtze River

Sustainable development of agriculture is the priority and importance of the strategy of sustainable development. The dissertation uses the research method of combining history and reality and unifying theories and practices. It deals with the basic theories, history and reality of sustainable development of agriculture and then puts forward the overall thought of the sustainable development of modem Chinese agriculture driven by multi - factors. Based on the vulnerable ecology and the binary economy of the upper reaches of the Yangtze River, this dissertation makes an all - round and systematic analysis of the important aspects in the development in this area; agricultural ecology, scientific and technological methods to increase agricultural profits, optimization of agricultural structure, industrialization of agriculture, the coordinated industrialization of the countryside and the changing of the countryside into towns. Following the thinking method of going from the whole to the parts, this dissertation details its analysis of featured models of the sustainable development of agriculture in such areas as Chengdu Plain and its surrounding hills, the reservoir region of the Three Georges, the Panxi region and Yunnan - Guizhou Plateau. In view of these models, it puts forward feasible measures and suggestions for the sustainable development of agriculture.
