This dissertation, in accordance with challenges our enterprises are facing after entering WTO and problems existing in human resource management, by using the experience of developed countries in human resource management for reference, has a comparative thorough and innovatory research into the theories and practice of human resource management, and suggests some theory and operation methods in selecting, educating, using and keeping man-power for our enterprises in China.This dissertation consists of six sections. The first section (chapter 1 ~ chapter3) is the basic theories of human resource management. It mainly deals with the present research situation and its results of human resource management at home and abroad, the basic conception of human resource management, the administration patterns of human resources in the United States and Japan, and manpower capital and "human as source " management theories. The second section (chapter4 ~ chapter10) is about operation of human resource management, which gives information of program and methods of operation in job analysis, human resource plan, recruitment, education and development, merits check, payment management and culture construction in enterprises. The third section (chapter11) is a research on human resources development and management cases which are about the experience of human resource management in Haier, Lianxiang and Taishu group. The fourth section (chapter12) is quantitative theory and its application to human resource management, which discusses the level analysis, fuzzy comprehensive remarks and game theory and their application to human resource administration. The fifth section (chapter13) is on human resource management in the 21st century, which studies the facing challenge and countermeasure of human resource management in enterprises after China's entering WTO, the human resource management in the intellectual economic age and the development trend of human resource management in the 21st century. The sixth section is conclusion and prospects.The main innovation points in this dissertation are as follows:1. It discusses the distributive payment method encouraging employees in enterprise and first suggests a new way to calculate effectiveness salary. 2. It studies the application of values, sensation quotient test and handwriting analysis to personal selection, and first raises a way or technology to test person's values and sensation quotient by questionnaire and behavior in working.3. It systematically studies the operation program in job analysis, human resource plan, recruitment, education and development, performance appraisal and wage system design, and designs the program of performance appraisal and recruitment from a new angle of view, which can be a reference and basis for top leaders' decision on human resource management.4. It first sets up an appraisal index system of new employee's development and training effect, managers in enterprise and enterprise culture. With the level analysis and fuzzy mathematics, it has constructed a fuzzy comprehensive appraisal pattern of enterprise culture and provided a set of new scientific and practical quantitative method for the appraisal of enterprise culture. This method can also be used in appraising employees' achievements and quality of managers and entrepreneurs in enterprises. At the same time, the dissertation has also discussed the application of game theory to human resource management and this is a new academic attempt.5. Through a thorough study of administrative experience of human resources in enterprises such as Haier, Lianxiang and Taishu group, etc., it gives a successful experience and administrative features of human resources in enterprises, which are significant and valuable reference for other enterprises.6. It first analyses the basic features required by human resources in intellectual economic age from a new angle of view, and puts forward the patterns and strategies of frame of developing intellectual economy in our country.7.
