In recent years, with the quick and efficient development of Chinese insurance industry,a promising development trend has also taken place in Chinese insurance corporations. However, compared with big international corporations, Chinese insurance corporations have weaker competence. Take the data of 2002 as an example. Allianz Insurance Corporation of Germany ranked first in the list published by Fortune, with sales worth $101930.2 million. While the entire sales of Chinese insurance industry was only RMBï¿¥305.31 billion (approximately $36833.2 million) which covers only 36.1% of Allianz's sales. So the sales gap between Chinese insurance corporations and international ones is quite obvious, not to mention competence. Although the hard-edged competition between Chinese insurance corporations and foreign ones can help enhance Chinese insurance corporations' competence, there is absolutely no "free lunch". As far as the development of Chinese insurance corporations is concerned, there still is a rather long and hard way to go. Of course we look forward to the "win-win" result, that is, the increasingly fierce competition between Chinese and foreign insurance corporations can play an active role in furthering the development of the two. It means both Chinese and foreign insurance corporations will advance their survival power and competence, and further promote the diversification of world insurance industry and the advancement of world economy. What we are extremely unwilling to see is that Chinese insurance corporations lose their favorable position and can not fully develop themselves as the result of the competition with foreign ones. Among them, striking tentative exposition includes detailed illustration of the concept of corporate vitality, the division of insurance corporations' vital phases, and fundamental prerequisites of the sustained development of Chinese insurance corporations and so on and so forth. In the second half of this dissertation, Chapter V, VI and VII, the author tries to cover more discussion on the research's practicability and feasibility, and attempts to be of some help for Chinese enterprises' and insurance corporations' administration and strategic options. This part embraces the analysis of the environment and current situations of insurance markets, exploration on the supervision and social acceptance of insurance, and exposition on the systematic adjustment and regulation of the interior administration system of insurance corporations and the exterior environment. The environment and current situations of insurance markets together with the supervision and social acceptance of insurance are the exterior environment, which insurance corporations can not evade. They are the living environment for these corporations as well. Only systematic administration and regulation can help insurance corporations achieve sustained development. The supreme state of the administration and regulation is to fulfill conformity inside the system and coordination outside the system. The author hopes what has b...
