With the change of the environments of the corporate technological innovation, the multinational corporations(MNCs), as the leaders of the world technological innovation, have embodied some new tendencies on the development of the technological innovation, among which technological alliance is one of the important tendencies. The traditional research for the technological alliance is carried out on the aspects of the arrangements of the organizations and the institutions. The thesis is trying to make the research for the innovative effects and related managements generated from technological alliance by the MNCs on the aspect of the technological innovation. In this dissertation, the author's opinion is that technological alliance carried out by the MNCs can help them to reach their goals on the technological innovation in a more effective way, because the technological alliance can establish "external relationship", which makes the innovative system in MNCs more opening. As a result, all of which can bring the MNCs of a series of innovative effects caused by the eternal scaled economy, effect of installed-base, the collectivity study and accumulation of the innovative knowledge, as well as the form of the acceleration of the innovative social capital. While the technological alliance creates the innovative advantages for the MNCs, it also brings the new management challenges for them. In this article, the author thinks the MNCs should give a systematic thinking to the management of the technological alliance. Therefore, in this article, the author points out the integrative management model of the technological alliance in MNCs. The model is made up of three dimensionalities, which are respectively network, knowledge and social capital. The three dimensionalities respectively answer three basic questions of the management integrative innovation. Hereinafter are the three questions: Who is the main body of the innovative management of the technological alliance? What are the essentials of the innovative management of the technological alliance? What kind of methods can be used for the innovative management of the technological alliance? Meanwhile, the three dimensionalities also reflect respectively the new development the theory of innovative network, the knowledge-based review as well as the theory of social capital in the research field of technological innovation. The author also thinks that with the global decentralization of the technological innovative knowledge in MNCs, the MNCs should embed in the local environments of the technological innovation; and obtains the knowledge needed in innovation through the technological alliance. Nevertheless, the integrated management for the technological alliance is an indispensable choice. The analysis of the dimensionality of the network for the technological alliance in MNCs will mainly focus on the development of internal innovative network by the MNCs, attempt to establish the external network Model of the technological alliance for the MNCs, and meanwhile, make profound analysis for the specialized characters of the network, the main body of the external network as well as the choice of the external network governance structure. In the article, the author thinks that the technological alliance/network will be significant way to obtain advantages of technological innovation for the in the future. An important goal for the technological alliance of MNCs is to learn external knowledge through the technological alliance, especially the knowledge that is tacit and collective. There are some obstacles in the study of the knowledge among the technological alliance in MNCs, such as the attributes of the knowledge itself, the attitudes the allied partners hold for the share of the knowledge. The analysis of the dimensionality of the knowledge is concentrating on these aspects, and pointing out the related study strategies accordingly.
