Organization niche theory is an important research field of organization ecology which explains the strategic relationship between organization and the environment from the view of organization niche.Some domestic researches and viewpoints recently presented themselves in the emerging field. But systematic researches about organization niche and its impact on strategy are few. This dissertation tries to integrate researches about niche environment, organization strategy and their evolutions.The dissertation addresses the broad question: What impact does organization niche make on organization strategy and its evolution. The contents are organized as following: The first is about the concept of organization niche and its content, the relationship between organization niche and its strategy; The second is about identifying the characteristic parameters of organization niche, and demonstrating based on the principle of order parameter in synergetic; The third is about the interaction relationship and rules between organization niche factors and organization, and the construction of organization niche evaluation model based on catastrophe theory; The forth is about the characteristics of organization evolution with the impact of niche factors, especially the influence technology and organization institution make on organization evolution.The first three chapters comprise the first part. The first chapter states some basic concepts in the research fields of organization niche and evolution and the basic aims of this research; The second one summarizes pre-research results about organization evolution and niche and some existing problems; The third one goes deep into the sources, concepts, contents, strategy implementation and so on of organization niche, and constructs a framework which deals with organization niche as the main strategy environment, pointing out that organization strategy is essentially to harmonize organization and its niche.Chapter Four is part two. This part states the research about organization and niche, and constructs a framework of organization forming model and organization niche factors model. The research found that organization is a mixture of substance resource and organization culture, organization niche is decided by four factors: resource, demands, technology and institution. At the same time, they are characteristic parameters of organization niche. As far as the relationship the above four factors, basing on the adiabatic principle, the paper points out that they might be ignored when describing organization niche.Third part includes chapter five. The match motion between organization and nicheis described. A named interacting networks diamond model with two arrangement is also stated here which comprised of(internal) resource, culture, (external) resources demands, technology, institution. The interaction between them and between the two arrangements, niche fitness and niche width are analyzed subsequently. Then, the paper summarizes the adaptability index, and sets up a niche factor relation model integrating catastrophe theory. In the end, the paper brings forward a method to evaluate the state of organization niche, and explain the feasibility and steps of this method by evaluating 10 domestic TV-production firms' organization niche.Forth part includes chapter six. The evolution nature and path influenced of niche factors is demonstrated here. In the framework of organization-niche interaction, organization evolution is divided into inner or outer two parts. Inner evolution is the upgrade process of inner resources and culture, outer evolution is that of niche factors change and organization and niche adjustment. Because of influence of factors interaction, learning and innovation mechanics and environment choice mechanics become the main dynamics of organization evolution. Technology is the key factor of outer resource - inner resource - need hypercycle system, so organization evolution appearances the rule of technology upgrading.
