Application Research Of Decision Support System Based On Data Excavation

Although there had made considerable progress on DDS in China, some problems still existed on many aspects of theory and practice, such as multi levels and miniature of DDS application characteristic; slow progress as a whole, long period of software preparation, low productivity, poor quality and loose relationship between development and utilization; few successful practice made by enterprise on DDS application and development, especially less on manufacturing industry, proved by the author's investigation to coal mining machinery enterprise on the spot; decision making supporting system for enterprise level based on some new technologies including data mining still in primary development step with lots of problems to be solved. Based on system study, this paper discusses the development of DSS theory, illustrates the course of DSS system designing, sums up its application status, views the foreground of DSS using with analyzing its advantages and disadvatages. This paper completely studies and analyzes the enterprise's status of Zhangjiakou coal mining machinery CO. LTD., and its computer software, hardware setup and administration requirement; puts forward DSS designing project to the present situation of Zhangjiakou coal mining machinery CO. LTD.; designs the entity system with this theory resulting very good effect. In this course, system R&D experiences are accumulated as well. Many innovations are shown in this course such as, This paper Brings forward new understanding for OLAM's meaning. OLAM is the joint for OLAP and DM. There are inclusion relationship among OLAM, OLAP and DM instead of parallel relationship. "M"is the core and purpose of OLAM. This paper puts forward OLAM mixed structure based on C/S and B/S.
