The Analysis Of Guangdong Province On Geopolitics And Geoeconomics

Guangdong province had been the sacrifice of the international geopolitics andgeoeconomics forces disputing in history--leading Hong Kong and Macaoseparated from its territory. Guangdong province changed from the edge area to be the core area of geopolitics and geoeconomics, and became the pioneer and driver in the police of "Reforming and Opening" of China, and also became the main point of academically research.By using this area as a special sample of geopolitics and geoeconomics analysis , This study is going on step by step. First, This paper will speak volumes for this study by using some theoretical tools, and gives prominence to the theoretically meaning of the topic. Second, this paper reviews the historical role of geopolitics and geoeconomics of Guangdong province, and analyzes the characteristics of geo-relationship structure from two aspects: domestic political and economical relationships and international political and economical relationships. Based on the theoretically model, this paper will focus on the study of the geopolitical and geoeconomical relationship between Guangdong—Hong Kong and Guangdong— Macao, and also do some research on the relationship between Guangdong and Multination Companies(MNCs). Third, to fully understand the developing trend and the environment of the world politics and economics, this paper sets up a new geo-relationship analysis model to discuss the geo-relationship developing trend of the Great Pearl River Delta (GPRD) including Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao. Forth, this paper will analyze the function, developing trend and political significance by using the factor of overseas Chinese and ethnic Chinese in the geo-relationships of Guangdong. This part expands the research area from region to world by following the geo-relationship development of the study to continue a more broad analysis.The results of this study will prove the advantage of geopolitics and geoeconomics of Guangdong province by implementing the policy of "Reforming and Opening". For this reason, Guangdong became the trial area and a pioneer in the political and economical system reform of China. The huge manufactory industry inGuangdong province has become the most important part of the chain all over the world, and also has been looked at by MNCs worldwide. In the future, Guangdong will hold new advantages. It will be an important part in the integrating of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao. The integrated region will have more broadly influence in geopolitics and geoeconomics. If three local governments in this region work together to set up the regional innovation system and innovation networks efficiently, remove the political misunderstanding, strengthen competition and cooperation, the competitive advantages of this region in the world will be more powerful. Based on the supporting of Pan Pearl River Delta (PPRD), developing toward the world market, fully using the close relationship between Guangdong and overseas Chinese and ethnic Chinese, and at the same time using the characteristic of multi-culture of overseas Chinese and ethnic Chinese, Guangdong will not only continue to be the driver in the economical development of China, but also to promote the development of the advanced culture in the future. The soft power of Guangdong will be the footstone for the peace growing up of China.
