China's Overall Modernization Strategy Research

The modernization process of China is now influenced by a new circumstance along with the blooming of knowledge economy and rapid progress on economic globalization. The immerging and development of the knowledge economy result in a milestone of the international modernization process. A new meaning has been given to the concept of modernization. A new modernization model focusing on knowledge economy and information's development is taking the place of the conventional modernization that used to be crucial with Industrialization and urban development in developed economies.The living and working situation is also being impacted significantly by the growing high-tech Industries. The international information exchanging on products, labour, capital, human resource, as well as technology are promoted greatly by the Information Revolution and the high-tech Industries. Specially with the joining of developing countries into the international market, the innovation in both technologies and mechanisms are driven forward. International capital flow is incentive in a wide range, leading into an overall international capital circulation. Apart from that, the enterprises begin to approach the international activities.The economic globalization is leading by America representing the developed countries, which are the best beneficiaries in the whole program. They have been devoting into the promotion of capitalism manufacture and market model, aiming to the realization of their own development goals. While in developing world, the main instruments of modernization are Industrialization and urban development that adopt different strategies. Some of the strategies are successful while some of them are failed, and also some are still under trial.Provided above new status and background, the best way for developing countries to win the modernization is to explore a proper strategy suitable to the specific individual situation. To harmonies this purpose, it is very important to summaries the experiences and lessoned learned from the stories of developed countries. Meanwhile, a way of Learn by Doing is also crucial to be followed.As a developing country in the way of modernization, China is of relative poor economy development with imperfect market economic system. A lot of disadvantages are facing China when applying to the international economy rules that based on developed countries. Meanwhile, opportunities are also brought into China by the globalization, typically in the Industry structure adjustment, resource distribution, developing the third Industry and setting up the market economic system. Thus it turns to be an urgent issue to study on how to take advantage of the opportunities and overcome the challenges.
