With the development of science and technology, in order to conquer nature, humankind has mastered various kinds of weapons which seem to be indomitable and undefeated. But when it comes to ideological and political education, those weapons appear not so effective. Therefore ideological and political education has become a great concern to our social organizations at all levels, but still the educational effect is not so good. We consider that one of the reasons for this contradictory phenomenon is the incorrect position of "logical starting point". This dissertation position the point for the "state subject". The educator is only a medium and a subject in the process of ideological and political education. This dissertation, in the perspective of systematic theory, censors various media between "state subject" and "the educatee" in the educational process, tries to analyze its possible problems and finds effective ways to improve education.The media of ideological and political education means all the links in the educational connection between the ruling class and the educatee. It includes all the elements between the two, which is a totality consisted of organization medium, connection, contents, educator and their practical activities. The main creative points of this thesis are the new perspective of recognizing "logical starting point" in ideological and political education ; raising and establishing the frame of studying educational step theory analysis; expanding the "three elements" into "four elements", bringing forward the concept of "the field of ideological and political education"; the research into the "media"; establishing the theory of "positive actions of double subjects" about the relations between educator and the educatee; applying the theory of information transmission into analyzing the transmission in education; drawing lessons from step theory and analyzing the internal mechanism in the educational information.This dissertation, in the vertical and horizontal latitudes, uses historical and systematic method to analyze those media. In the vertical latitude, the analysis covers three parts including its history, present and future. In the horizontal latitude, this dissertation censors the education's various elements systematically.In terms of its historical change, systems analysis and sustained development, I am intended to discover its disadvantages, study its strategies, find its solutions and guide our practice in education.The dissertation is composed of three parts.The first part is about historical change of the media. Through analyzing their organization subject and object, this dissertation studies their similarities and difference between China and the west. Reviewing the past, we should inherit their advantages from the west, learn a lesson from the failure of the west; whereas try to keep its developmental trend and guide today's practice.The second part is about the systems analysis of the media. Firstly, the dissertation involves the systems analysis of the media and tries to find the media's elements. Secondly, its purpose is to find and analyze the chains structure of the media. The media which are composed of various levels of organization and the subjects in the education form the obvious chain, and also the "visible points". Thirdly, it demonstrates various dilemmas of the mediua including the organization dilemma, subject and information dilemma and tries to find out the solutions. By doing this, I come to the conclusion that the education model of "multi-position as an integral whole" should be adopted in the ideological and political education.The third part is about the sustained development of those media. In terms of how to deal with the media's problems caused by rapid social development, I raise the thought about making organization work and subject specialized. In the light of how to face the problems of the shortage of educational resource, I suggest that we should make full use of our traditional cultural resource, gather human, theory, course and medium resource to expand the educational potentiality. In the perspective of the media, I discuss about how future ideological and political education will satisfy the demands of globalization in order to better safeguard our culture.At present, we come across unprecedented difficulties in the ideological and political education. How to improve actual effect of the education is becoming a big concern to all of us. We believe that the development of the media of ideological and political education is an inevitable trend for us to study and practice future education.
