With the establishment of PRC, the new relationship of socialism nationalities has been formed, together with the increasingly steady development of socialism course. The authoritative statement about its characteristics is the following: the equality, integrity, mutual support and harmony of all nationalities.Since the reform and opening up of China, along with its normal operation, there are some problems that affect our national ties, which result from geographic locations as well as the market economy, the drawbacks of the national legislation and the inappropriate practice of national work.As a result, the new national relationship can't work properly. It is necessary for the government to take official measures to cope with it. In respect to the reality, the national detachment may strengthen the national equality; the national symbiosis may reinforce the national integrity; the national equilibrium may increase the mutual support; the national restructure may intensify the harmonious relationships.All these strategies are aimed at solving not only general problems, but also political problems such as electing representatives and cadres of ethnic minorities, the government of national xiang or towns, the autonomy of national areas, economical problems like the employment of ethnic minorities, the industrialization of agriculture and live stock breeding, national trade and the western development, together with the cultural problems including the usage of language and word of ethnic minorities, the inheritance of customs and conventions, education, the development of legal systems, etc.
