A Study On Public Policy Termination Of China From A Perspective Of The Multiple-Streams Theory

The policy termination is a stage of the process of public policy, it is a normal phenomenon. One policy needs change the status by means of policy change or policy termination when it becomes inefficient or invalid, otherwise the inactive status will cause deterioration of policy issues, even can affect the normal operation of the whole policy system. Due to the double pressure of the rules of World Trade Organization and social transformation, the study of policy termination gradually become an important topic in public policy study field in contemporary China. How does a policy be terminated? What are the key factors of a policy termination? When dose a policy be terminated? Who push the process of policy termination? Those are the important questions that the study of the policy termination needs to answer and interpret. This paper analyses the key factors of the policy termination process of China and the mutual relationships of the factors.
