The social life nowadays is lack of ethics, and the whole world has not constructed a common ethics. China faces many ethical problems during the social shift. Teaching is the important form of ethical life, and at present the lack of ethics in teaching is commonly known, so emphasis on the ethical character and construction of the ethical spirit are theoretical and practical Thus the dissertation attempts to construct an ethical spirit which conforms to the teaching character and the need of social development from the view of "teacher-student community" and "life world", depending on the value of which teaching should follow the ethical principles, adjust to the ethical rules and show the ethical intelligence.The reason why teaching is ethical is that the student has the possibility to grow, teaching has the quality of education and the essence of teaching is communitive. The character of teaching includes the value of teaching, the humanity of teaching and ethics of teaching elements, and so oa The ethical character of teaching not only assures to enhance the moral level and cultivate the ideal personality but also adjusts to the relation of teaching.In history teaching has been pregnant with rich ethical ideas. The ethical ideas of traditional Chinese teaching emphasized the experiences, overlooked personality and was lack of creativity, thus they did not form undependable system, while the ideas of foreign countries emphasized human not the personality, which made the ethical relationship relatively free, emphasized the value of ration and intelligence and particular roles of ethics. The ethical ideas of teaching roots in the rich teaching practice, which leads to the diversity of characters. The development of ethical ideas of teaching embodies the conflict and harmony of science and ethics and shows the trend of ethical values such as relativism, absolutism and authoritativism, which offers not only the starting point but also the direction to construct the ethical spirit.Examining the current ethics of teaching in the classroom we find that the teaching exists many problems related to ethics, such as the lack of pedagogical care, which includes the lack of communication, bve and trust, and the apathy of relation, the overloading of teaching, which can be seen from the change of curriculum plan, alienation of teaching time and the overburden of learning etc., physical and mental punishment, prejudice embodying sex, looks, asking questions and assigning the seats etc., the ecological disturbance of teaching, embodying the disturbance of teaching goals and contents and the lack of subject and creativity etc., and also the teachingapartment from the life, embodying emphasizing books and the possible life , and so on. Meanwhile analyzing the moral education, we find that moral education is not as important as it should be, that the theory does not apply to the practice, and also that it alienate from the real life, etc.As for the construction of ethics of teaching in the classroom, firstly it is the theoretical preparation of construction, and the secondly the ecological system of ethical spirit. About the theoretical preparation, the phenomenonism, interpretationism, the postmodern perspectives on ethics and the modern pedagogical ideas have the enlightening significance to caring for the life of teaching, improving the interaction and the dialogue and understanding between the teacher and the students. As the ecological system of ethical spirit is concerned, we must give up the dualism to build the idea of "teacher-student community" so as to initiate the open relationship, erode the artocracy and authority, encourage democracy, dissolve mechanical life, manifest the ecology of developing wholly, and also to give up the sole book world, build up the life world in order to weaken the possible life, sponsor the realistic significance.
