In the 21th Century, People pay more attention to moral education. However, it seemsthat moral education gets into dilemmas. Many researchers have researched on it fromdifferent points of view and put forward some strategies. Regarding the issues of theseparation of knowledge and practice, the deficiency of individuality, and the unclear aimexisting in moral education, the important way to solve the dilemma is to analyze the reasons,think out the strategies, and offer an individualized quality education for every student.Researching students grouping is the basis and the premise of the individual educationresearch in moral education. It is also the research on the individual in individualized qualityeducation research. It is about how to recognize the characteristics of moral individuals, howto apply the classification and grouping to educational practice on the basis of recognizing thecharacteristics of moral individuals.Viewing the educational history of human beings, accompanying with the changes of theorganizing forms for instruction, researching students grouping of individualized qualityeducation in moral education has experienced three development stages including individualteaching, ungroup instruction under the class instruction system, and group instruction underthe class instruction system. Because of the difference of organizing forms for instruction,researching students grouping of individualized quality education in moral education hasrespective traits to suit to its organizing form. Under the background of class instructionsystem, researching students grouping of individualized quality education in moral educationhas different characteristics from the one in the stage of individual teaching. It is necessary torecognize the characteristics of moral individuals, classify and group the moral individuals,and carry out the instruction with the aim.The research on discrepancy of moral individuals is the basis and premises ofresearching students grouping. The discrepancy of moral individuals includes the discrepancyamong individuals and the development levels in oneself. Therefore, confirming thediscrepancy dimension among moral individuals, making sure the standard on somedimension, and measuring its development level with scientific ways are the basis to realizeclassification and grouping on the moral individual discrepancy research scientifically.The moral development testing with independent selection is the method for researchingstudents grouping. The diagnosis on moral development is not only the way to recognize thecharacteristics of moral individuals scientifically, but also the way to classify the moralindividuals. Moral development testing has considered expansion, subjects, and contexts. Themoral development testing with independent selection is a testing that could make teachingget reflection information quickly, could be combined with teaching tightly, and could becontextualized. When the testing is applied to classify moral individuals and to moraleducation instructions, it has different characteristics. It is one of the most significant meansto realize scientific classification and grouping so that the limitations of class instructionsystem under the current educational system could get a breakthrough.In practice, the application of researching students grouping of individualized qualityeducation in moral education is following: One is that the students with same moraldevelopment traits are recruited together and educated together. The thesis gives examples ofGao'erji working school and Zhongxin High School, which have students with same moraltraits. The moral education is helpful for individualized quality education. The other is that interms of group teaching and integrative practical activities under the background of classinstruction, two examples of the moral education dilemma and a moral play are analyzed toshow the feasibility of the application of discrepancy research and the development testingwith independent selection.In the context of current educational system and class instruction system, in order tostrengthen the aim and effectiveness of moral education, the thesis puts forward the followingthree suggestions: firstly, set up moral education special schools with relevant recruitingconditions;secondly, in schools recruiting students according to academic achievement,classification and grouping according to moral development traits are carried out. Thirdly,under the background of new curriculum, scientific grouping and integrative practicalactivities are applied to break the limitations of class instruction.
