The Research Of The National Ideology Security And The Education Of University Students' Political Values

The security of national ideology is very important in the nation's security system, which directly related to a country or a regime's survival and safety. It has a close relationship with the education of university students' political values. According to the international background which our nation is confronted with nowadays, varieties of objective factors result in the fact that western countries are more powerful than our nation. In order to ruin China, the western capitalist countries, with the United Sates taking the lead, carry out the policies of "westernization" and "splitting-up". Taking the advantage of globalization, they contrive the schemes of "culture exportation" and "value infiltration" towards our nation. All of these have had a certain effect upon the youth, without the exception of university students. Our country is a socialist country. It is the socialist road that we must insist on. The current fundamental task of the security of national ideology is to adhere to the mainstream of the socialist ideology, insure the socialist road. University students, who are the builders and successors of socialism, represent the nation's future and hope. Their Political quality and political values are inevitably related with the security of national ideology. Therefore, it is of great realistic significance to investigate the education of university students' political values with respect of the security of national ideology.However, there haven't been any investigations on the aspect of the security of national ideology and the education of university students' political values in China until now. This thesis fills the vacancy in this field. It has systematically analyzed and expounded their relationship, probed into their inherent relation and interaction, researched the effective factors as well as the effective status of university students' political values towards the nation's security, and also discussed the educational countermeasures. On the other hand, the systems of educational contents, methodology and carriers, which concern the university students' political values, have been constructed originally with respect of the security of national ideology, and the theories together with practices of this education have been enriched.This thesis mainly comprises nine chapters:Chapter one serves as the theoretical basis of the investigation on the security of national ideology and the education of university students' political values. The main statements include that the theoretical basis of this research is the scientific system of Marxism and the direct theoretical basis is Marxism's several concrete doctrines, such as the doctrine on the country, the doctrine on ideology and the doctrine on the youth.Chapter two is about the security of national ideology and political values, mainly discusses the connotation of the security of national ideology, the concept and functions of political values, and analyzes the impact of political values on the security of national ideology.Chapter three concerns the relationship between the security of national ideology and the university students' political values. In this chapter, the connotation, the characteristics and the history-progressing trace of university students' political values are expatiated. So are the modes of interaction between the security of national ideology and university students' political values.Chapter four presents the analysis of the actual status of university students' political values as well as the education of actual status of university students. From the historical development, empirical investigation and organization attribution, symmetrically analyzes the specific characteristics of political values of students in political knowledge, political stance, political identity, political tolerance and political concerns and summarizes the basic features of contemporary university students'political values. This chapter also makes a comprehensive analysis of the main problems of the education of current university students' political values and to provide reality basis for strengthening and improving the education of political values.Chapter five is on the influence of Western political thought and traditional Chinese political thought to contemporary university students' political values. It analyzes the representation of Western political thought and its main forms of invasion and manifestations which has an important impact on contemporary university students' political values and investigates the root cause of traditional political thought as well as its dual effect on contemporary university students' political values.Chapter six is researching on university students' formation of political values and acceptable mechanism. It focuses on the three-dimensional rules (education, environment and individual) which have influence on the formation of political values as well as the progressive laws. On this basis, from the accepted theory perspective, to explore the individual accepted mechanisms of political values which are dynamic mechanism, processing mechanism and the adjustment mechanism.Chapter seven is to present the construction of the educational content system for the university students' political values. With respect of the security of national Ideology, the guiding ideology and constructing principles of educational content system of university students' political values under the new stage are discussed. Furthermore, the author originally puts forward the educational content system of university students' political values, which relies mainly on 'seven-item education', including the education of basic knowledge about political theories, the education of national security and the education of political identification etc.Chapter eight is devoted to the educational methodology of university students' political values. This part starts from three aspects: the concept and meaning of educational methodology of university students' political values, its theoretical basis, as well as the detailed methods of educational work. On the basis of Marxism materialist dialectics, the methodology system of educational features about university students' political values, whose core is nine educational methods, such as the infusing method of political theories, the communing method of political mentalities and the edifying method of political cultures etc, has been constructed.Chapter nine is about the execution of the education of university students' political values. This part embarks on three main aspects: the carrier, administrating mechanism and team construction. The characteristic carrier system, management mechanism and the mode of team construction have been constructed under the view of the security of national ideology.
