On The Study Of Soccer Team Performance

Competitive capacity is one of the core themes of the training theory. The development of competitive capacity is the central point of team building. Soccer is one of the most complicated team sports. What the components of the individualized competitive capacity (ICC) can logical be the components of team competitive capacity (TCC) is an objective problem, but few people can answer it. In this article, the author theorized the conception of the team competitive capacity and discussed the factors influenced this kind of competitive capacity.In the process of study, these methods were used: Documentary method, method of questionnaire survey, method of specialist review, notational analysis and computerized analysis, mathematical analysis and logical induction.The objects of study include : Chinese National teams ( Men's team, Women's team, Olympic team, Boys'team and Girls team) and the matches, the club of Chinese Super League, the team participated the 06 FIFA World Cup and the process of the team building of hi-leveled teams.In the article, the author mentioned: 1. The classical conception of the competitive capacity is just focus on the ICC. The MCC is not simply the addition of the ICC. They two have non-linear relationship. With the reference to the previous studies and Theory of System, organization theory and behavioral science, the author concludes: what the TCC is collective capacity which is performed in the form of spring-up in the process of interaction and inter-influence between the athletes of team items 2. With the base of the Theory of System, the author concludes: there are two main components which influenced the TCC----What the ability the players are, and how to integrate the ability of the individuals. 3. What influenced the process of integration are the coach and coaching staff. The members of coaching staff of Chinese team are same in the knowledge-structure. And there is a structural absence in the configuration of the coaching team. 4. The psychological aspect of the team building is core component which influence the improvement of TCC. The author points out: the social absorption and task absorption is very high generally in Chinese hi-leveled teams, but the social attraction and task attraction is much lower than the other two component of team cohesion. 5. With the System Theory points of view, there are several characteristics of the environment of the match: consistence and variation; controllable and uncontrollable; optimum, neutrality and pessimum. 6. With the Social Theory points of view, the author contend that the dynamic role of the players in the match situation have characteristics of additivity, multi-role and hi-frequency. After researching the dynamic role-changing of the high-level athletes in the real-games, we can learn a lot from them, and then improve the performance of Chinese players. 7. With the case study of the high-level games, we found that less or more Chinese players have several main problems when they play games, they are: The passes of the players with the ball is unreasonable in the game situation; The players without the ball have poor cognition of the roles; The team-structure is unreasonable; The transition of the roles is very slow, etc. 9. After the practical study of the process of the team-building of the high-level football teams, they author point out: there are some kind of collision in the process of the team-building; coaching staff is very important to the team-building; good technique of communication and leadership of the head coach is key component of the team building. The mental side and tactical side of teambuilding is indiscerptible factors of the process of teambuilding; the cultivation of ICC is one of the key aspects of the cultivation of TCC. And we coaches don't ignore the"team with the team"in the process of cultivation of TCC.
