Applying high-speed DSP technology to low-light-level (LLL) video processing is an important technology approch to improve the performance of LLL-TV system. In this dissertation, the realizing method of the minitype LLL video processing system centered about TMS320C6201B is studied. It is significant to realize the LLL image's noise filtering and gray shifting, thus improving the image's quality and system's operating distance on the base of portable, low power consumption and high speed of image processing. Firstly, the internal and international development of the LLL video processing technology in recent years has been reviewed in this dissertation. Then several theory problems associated closely with LLL video processing are discussed in detail. The realizing method of the minitype of LLL video processing system centered about TMS320C6X is also studied. For the system's image processing arithmetic, the mode of "motion detection + noise filtering + gray shifting" is brought forward based on associated analyzing. In the last part of the dissertation, the debugging method of the minitype LLL-video processor with high-speed DSP is discussed and the results of debugging are given and analyzed. These results show that the system's design scheme is feasible, and the system's hardware and software works in gear.
