The paper aims to examine the influence of transformational leadership on innovative ability in technological corperations. The dissertation proposes to implement the transformational leadership in the enterprise through stimulating staffs individual creativity to build an innovational atmosphere, to lead the enterprise to a learning team, depending upon all the staff's joint efforts, impelling the whole enterprise inceasingly towards the innovative ability, enabling the enterprise to grow strongly in the globalized economic environment.The dissertation first makes the summary about the leadership theory, the individual creativity theory and the enterprise innovative ability cultivation and some relative theories. And then it discusses in detail the development of transformational leadership theory, its connotation characteristics and the survey dimensions and so on. Also it points out that the transformational leadership through charismatic or idealized influence,inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation and individual consideration encourages staff themselves for realizing community's goal beyond considering their own benefits; To guide the staff to undertake more responsibilities for their own and enterprise's development to encourage the staff to display their own creativity to help staff embody their job's and their life's value and to form an innovation atmosphere in the enterprise, the transformational leaders should encourage their subordinates to be leaders or better leaders, so as to make the enterprise be a learning-type collective organization. The paper points out that the stimulation to staff's individual creativity is the transformational leadership's main purpose, which is one of basic means to develop enterprise innovative ability.Moreover the paper discusses the characteristics and difficulties of transformational leadership in economic environment of our country, social environment and the cultural atomosphere. It also points out that some transformational leadership's dimensions can be found in Chinese traditional culture, therefore the realization of transformational leadership has its profound foundation in China. Nevertheless, the paper points out that the Chinese special cultural traditions, the social system and the financial circumstances has existed the barriers and puzzles in the implementation of transformational leadership; Under the present situation, the enterprise faces how to implement transformational leadership. Still, the paper proposes some corresponding measures.Based on above-mentioned discussions, the author proposes the function mechanism of how the transformational leadership influences enterprise's innovation abilities from two angles of the individual creativity and the enterprise innovation ability. The paper deems that the transformational leaders can influence the enterprise staffs individual creativity through staffs intrinsic motivation and the psychological empowerment intermediary function. While the staff's individual creativity stimulate is the important way to cultivate and promote the enterprise's innovative abilities. In addition, with the organized study and innovative atmosphere the transformational leader can influence enterprise's innovative abilities. This paper formulates a theoretical mode which contains the transformational leadership behaviors, the staff's intrinsic motivation, the staff's psychology empowerment, the staff's individual creativity, enterprise's innovation atmosphere, enterprise's learning capability and others variables. The dissertation also proposes the corresponding hypotheses in research.In the theoretical elaboration foundation, the research applies the structurized transformational leadership behavior meter, the staff intrinsic motive meter, the staff psychology empowerment meter, the organization study meter to carrying on the investigations of 25 IT enterprises, including 500 staff and 75 leaders.The author utilizes SPSS13.0 and the Amos18.0 in data collections, the regression analysis, the correlation analysis, the letter analysis, and the validity analysis as well as the structural equation mode analysis so as to test the mode and the research hypotheses, and the following important conclusions have been gained:(1) There are obvious differences in the transformational leadership's structure validity in China, compared with the Western countries. The intelligent stimulation can not constitute an effective dimension under the background of Chinese culture. Therefore the transformational leadership's survey structure is the three-dimension mode. After the mode verification, the individual consideration plays a significant role in the influence of the intermediary variables in three dimensions.(2) The transformational leader has the correlation to the staff individual creativity and to the enterprise innovation ability.(3) The transformational leadership has the influence on the staff's individual creativity through the psychological empowerment and the intrinsic motivation.(4) The transformational leadership has also the influence on enterprise's innovation ability through the organized study and its innovative atomosphere, the latter has the remarkable function.(5) The staff's individual creativity has remarkable relations with enterprise innovation ability.The paper has several innovations in the following areas:(1) Under China traditional culture, the research discriminated the transformation leadership theory's characteristic has different with the West cultural context in several implementation dimensions. (2) Introduce the transformation leadership theory into enterprise innovation ability research, discusses from the leadership potency's angle in the enterprise innovation ability question. (3) From the individual creativity's stimulation as well as the relations between individual creativity and the organization innovation ability's angle to study the transformation leadership and the enterprise innovation ability, uses the structural equation to construct the impetus and function model of transformation leadership to the individual creativity and the organization's innovative ability.The paper here has its limitations in sample coverage and time span. And the author puts forward some proposals concerning the leadership mechanism's further exploration, the longitudinal study and the crosswise comparison research and so on in the future.
