Research On Technology Innovation Advantage Of Multinational Corporation From Knowledge Perspective

In the evolution process of innovation globalization of technology globalization of multinational corporation, technology Innovation has become a kind of important approach to get monopolistic advantage and keep competitive power. The technology innovation behaviour of multinational corporation is restrained by knowledge, and the essence of technology innovation advantage is knowledge advantage, when its supporting Infrastructure is knowledge network.In the research, firstly, the author raise the question of technology innovation advantage, and discusses the research objects and meaning, summarizes the related litreatures about multinational and its technology innovation, technology innovation advantage, technology innovation spillover and knowledge management, and put forwards the research methods and technology route of this thesis.When analyzed the technology innovation and innovation advantage of multinational corporation, the author discuss the knowledge base of technology innovation of multinational corportaion and the coupling of technology innovation and knowledge management, analyze the organization boundary, knowledge location and knowledge network, make a futher analysis of the core question of knowledge contribute to consolidate the technology innovation advantage, and present the knowledge essence of technology innovation advantage of multinational corporation, reveal the relationship of knowledge and technology innovation advantage of multinational corporation.In the thesis, the author analyzes the content of multinationals'advantage of technological innovation from three perspectives—resources, capabilities and dynamic capabilities. According to the knowledge acquisition theory, knowledge conversion theory and knowledge gap theory, we discuss the accumulation of organizational learning, the improvement of dynamic capabilities, the flexible management of knowledge strategy and other dynamic mechanisms during the process of technological innovation.In this thesis, the author studies the formation of multinationals'advantage of technological innovation in three ways—knowledge production, knowledge flow, and knowledge application. Based on knowledge production process and the complexity of knowledge production, through an empirical study, we believe that the R & D spillovers and R & D management plays an important role. Based on the mechanism of internal and external knowledge flows, we believe that the formation of multinationals'advantage of technological innovation is built on knowledge sharing, knowledge absorption and knowledge spillovers, and we also conduct quantitative analysis.In the last part, the author designs questionnaires for 28 domestic multinationals and headquarters of 20 foreign multinationals in China. Variables and measurement indicators are designed to collect and control effective data. According to our three assumptions, and using SEM model, we conduct statistic analysis and sample validity and reliability testing. Results turn out that multinationals'advantage of technological innovation is significantly related to knowledge production, R & D management, knowledge sharing, knowledge absorption, knowledge spillovers, knowledge trade, knowledge protection and other indicators.
