Research In Competitiveness Evaluation Of Medical Enterprise

As a merged industry of the primary, secondary, tertiary industry, pharmaceutical industry's development is very crucial upon the improvement of people's health, development of economics, and advancement of society. With the swift growth of our country's economics and our country's becoming the second largest economy entity, the resident income level and consumption level has greatly increased. At the same time, the gradual establishment and improvement of national health care system lead to the better protection and satisfaction of resident's medical and health demands, and further more, brings up the increase of demand of medical industry's consumption, which provides broad market prospect and nice development opportunities. In recent years, our country's medicine production has reached a tremendous scale with the rapid development of pharmaceutical industry, yet generally speaking, we do not have a strong pharmaceutical industry. Compared to some other developed countries, there are still lots of shortcomings of the enterprise size, products structure, economic efficiency, and research capability, which are reflected by the deficiency of market competitive abilities. With the gradual improvement of health care reform and deepening of economic globalization, the existence of pharmaceutical industries has changed, which leads to a practical and urgent question, that is, how to evaluate the competitive ability of pharmaceutical enterprises, and then propose new strategies of enhancing the pharmaceutical enterprises', even the industry's competitive abilities. Based on this background, the evaluation and research on the pharmaceutical enterprises'competitive abilities have crucial theoretical and practical significance.First, we reviewed the relevant theory of studying competitive abilities, based on which we systematically analyzed the common evaluating methods and parameters of enterprises'competitive abilities. Further more, we studied the theory and evaluating methods.Second, we analyzed and summarized the characteristics of pharmaceutical industry, concluded the specialties of pharmaceutical enterprises' competitive abilities, and emphasized the basic characters which are the highly dependent of pharmaceutical enterprises on technology and scale economy. We systematically demonstrated the competitive strategies and trends of development of pharmaceutical enterprises, based on which we proposed a construction of parameters system evaluating the competitive abilities of pharmaceutical enterprises.Third, we used rough set theory, fuzzy logic and analytical hierarchy process method and analyzed the knowledge expression system, quantitative model, and parameter weight of evaluating pharmaceutical enterprises competitive abilities. Based upon the characteristics of rough set and SVM, we combined these two theories to construct evaluation system of pharmaceutical enterprises'competitive abilities, using RS-SVM, and studied the parameters and relevant methods during the evaluating process.Finally, we employed the research result of pharmaceutical enterprises of Hubei province, processed practical studies on the evaluating model of pharmaceutical enterprises'competitive abilities, based on which we proposed strategies on the development of Hubei pharmaceutical industry, in the perspectives of technical economics, policies, industry union, technical garden and enterprises, concerning the practical status of Hubei pharmaceutical industry.
