Studies On Sustainalbe Urbanization Of China

Urbanization is an important phase of social and economical development. Accelerating urbanization of China has important functions and significances. Although there were some urban problems during urbanization process, urbanization should not be obviated. Urbanization should be guided by sustainable theory to fast, healthy and harmonious development. This study amalgamated the sustainable theory and urbanization study, and fixed on sustainable urbanization as study object. Firstly, sustainable urbanization's meaning and characters were explained. Then comprehensive assessing index system of urbanization was constructed, general situation of China urbanization was analyzed for years. Finally, level of China sustainable urbanization development was assessed and analyzed both from time and space point. Main sustainable urbanization factors were also analyzed. At last, the future trend of China urbanization was estimated; suggestions and measures for accelerating sustainable urbanization were brought forward. Main contents as follows: Firstly, based on the analysis on study background and domestic and foreign relative study, study purpose, significances, main contents, study outline and conceivable innovation were projected. Study object was analyzed form theory. Accelerating urbanization of China has important functions and significances, and Urbanization should be guided by sustainable theory to fast, healthy and harmonious development. So sustainable urbanization was fixed on as this study's object. Secondly, study object was analyzed form theory. The characters and main content of sustainable urbanization were analyzed, and assessing method was introduced. This part is the base of the following study. Thirdly, assessing analysis and estimation methods were introduced. This study is empirical study about urbanization, so study methods and technical measures were very important. This chapter was mainly introduced methods and measures of study, such as the methods of constructing comprehensive assessing index system of urbanization, measurable assessing methods of urbanization level and methods for estimating urbanization trends. Fourthly, general situation of China urbanization was analyzed since the reformation. The general situation was analyzed by using comprehensive indexes. Combined with global comparisons, the main characters of China urbanization and development level were found. Fifthly, the level of sustainable urbanization of China was measurably assessed, and effective factors were analyzed. Based on factor analysis, the development index, situation harmony index and harmony development index were constructed to measurably assessing sustainable urbanization. As the meantime, effective factors were analyzed. Sixthly, the level of sustainable urbanization of region was measurably assessed, and effective factors were analyzed. According to regionalism, urbanization level of 31 provinces of China were assessed and classified. Based on this study, regional effective factors were analyzed. Seventhly, the future trend of China urbanization was estimated; eighthly, suggestions and measures for accelerating sustainable urbanization were brought forward. Estimation was made by time series methods. Compared with the Xiaokang target and foreign level, the lagging factors of our urbanization were found. According to these lagging factors, suggestions and measures for accelerating sustainable urbanization were brought forward. In the end, there was conclusion. The main conclusion and innovations were introduced.
