This dissertation emphasizes on the personal insurance market in China's rural area based on the background of constructing new socialistic villages. The aim of this dissertation is to find the basic reasons of the present difficulty of personal insurance market in rural area and establish the plan to solve this problem. There are 6 chapters in this dissertation.Chaper 1:Introduction. This chapter is the overall planning for the whole paper. On the foundation of the established research theme, the academic perspective is analyzed, by which the clue of research thought, content and methods are determined and possible innovations are explained.Chapter 2: The basic theories of personal insurance in rural area. The basic theories of personal insurance in rural area includs personal insurance theory, insurance market theory, insurance market in rual area theory, insurance marketing theory and the theory of the importance of personal insurance market .Chapter 3: The present situation and problems. The present situation and problems is studied. The feasibility of exploring this market is analyzed through discussing the social and economic foundation, meanwhile, forecasts the potential and put forward a question: why does personal insurance market lag time although it owns the huge potential?Chapter 4: The market analysis. The demand is analyzed through researching the Chinese peasants'risk management method. They have desire to manage risk , but few person selecte insurance product. It is discovered that the income is not the basic reason. The peasants don't have enough insurance sense is the direct reason. According to the characteristic of the insurance product, the short of effective supply from the insurance company causes the peasants don't have enough insurance consciousness. Because of commercial insurance companies'aim at earning maximum profit, they warrant to enter the market in the village as the profit rate in village is lower than in the city, in addition, price is limited and insurance resources are scarce.Chapter 5: Exploration strategy. The product strategy, price strategy, place strategy and promotion strategy are put forward on the aimed market. The way to solve demand problem is exploring mandatory product responsibility insurance for seeds,chemical fertilizers and pesticides and employer responsibility insurance for peasants employed in urban area to cultivate Chinese peasant's insurance sense.Chapter 6: Necessary condation.
