Recently, the researcher has witnessed many organizations are taking cognizance of and implementing knowledge management (KM) in management practice. KM is the management activities of knowledge's producing, processing, broadcasting and applying in order to keep or sharpen the competitive edge. KM also has a close relationship with the changeful competition circumstance, so it is necessary for the organization to be dynamic as well. The KM objective targets not only for integration of the internal and the external knowledge, but also for the development of organization performance (OP).The dissertation analyses internal foundation of organization dynamic competence from the view of KM, and demonstrates dynamic knowledge management competence (DKMC) with its triple-layered structure model. The model consists of foundation layer which lies in KM fundamental competence, conversion layer which lies in KM transfer competence and application layer which lies in KM dynamic application competence. It points out the repository which contains visible and invisible knowledge stored in each one's head of the organization is the core of the DKMC triple- layered structure. On the one hand, the capability of each layer accumulates to enlarge the knowledge repository. On the other hand, the knowledge repository has a great effect on each layer. Moreover, different emphasizes are laid on the relationship of each layer in the knowledge repository. Otherwise, DKMC model focuses on dynamic configuration to suit the changing environment. The model also shows the status and effect of each layer so as to target the KM level for organizing itself and to identify the problems on corresponding layer. It helps to set up a holistic KM solution for the competence and resource adapting to dynamic circumstance, while the consisting competing advantage can be obtained.After the DKMC concept model has been set up, the dissertation focuses on four questions. First, what is the relationship of the three layers? Second, how does the DKMC influence the OP? Third, how do the dynamic surroundings influence the drive force from DKMC to OP? Fourth, what about the significance of the questions mentioned above? In order to answer the four questions, the dissertation measures the DKMC, dynamic surroundings, organization innovation and OP. For instance, the DKMC consists of three layers, such as knowledge fundamental competence, knowledge transfer competence and knowledge dynamic application competence. Moreover, dynamic surroundings can be characterized by technical changes and market changes. Then the management innovation and technology innovation are used to measure the organization innovation. Finally, the OP is tested by short- term performance and long- term performance.Questionnaire survey is used for data collection and demonstration. The sample group is centralized in middle & senior managers of business and institutions in east China. 450 questionnaires have been put out, and 385 received with the good responses rate of 85.6%. Among those, numbers of valid questionnaires are 330. During data analysis process, it uses statistics software SPSS15.0 to reliability test and validity test, and takes LISREL8.70 to build structure equation model for demonstrating the validity of the hypotheses. The dissertation gets the following conclusions:1) It makes detailed anatomy to the DKMC model including three layers with different functions and concrete factors in the layers. In the first place, it put change perceptive factor and knowledge disposal factor into the KM research. It demonstrates technical ability, structural ability and cultural ability of the foundation layer. With Nonaka model, it takes internal ability, external ability, combinative ability and social ability as the four factors of conversion layer. At the application layer, it brings forward our change- perceiving ability, absorbing ability, integrating ability and disposal ability.2) Demonstration research is used to verify the DKMC layers and to validate the model mechanism. The foundation layer shows the condition for KM practice from technology, structure and culture. The conversion layer runs according to the Nonaka model. The application layer implements the Knowledge dynamic application with four processes as change perceiving, absorbing, integrating and disposing.3) The dissertation explores and approves that culture brings far more substantial effect to knowledge helix activities than technique. Moreover, it finds the dynamic surroundings exert significant influences on the factors of knowledge application.4) It is proved that the promoting relationship between three layers of DKMC model. The knowledge fundamental competence impulses the knowledge transfer competence, and the knowledge transfer competence impulses the knowledge dynamic application competence.5) It is also proved that the knowledge dynamic application competence, which pushes the OP by organization innovation, is the key of the DKMC model to shift the OP.6) It brings forward the evaluation system of the DKMC. At the first time, it utilizes particle swarm optimization method in the field of the colony intelligence into the optimization of the evaluation model, so as to recommend a full set of methods to optimize DKMC evaluation model.
