Enterprise application software system is one of the most wildly used software system with its unique characteristics in China. However, the high risk of project implementation has badly affected the promptly development of the informationization construction of domestic enterprises. This problem has aroused popular concern in academic and business fields, and a lot of solutions to this issue were proposed. But project managers of enterprise application software systems find it is difficult to select a set of project management methods and development process that are suitable for enterprise practices from the existing theories and methods. Especially in the application software projects in large and medium-sized enterprises, project managers are hard to control and manage project risks.Therefore, the research of the implementation methods of enterprise application software, in order to forms a set of systematic, oriented risk management methodology that is helpful for domestic enterprises to implement software project, has great realistic significance to improve project success rate. The main research work is as follows:Through literature review, interviews with experts, and field visit, the term of application software project and its implementation methods are defined, the features and classifications of the application software in enterprises are analyzed, and the principle and method for establish risk index system for the application software projects in enterprises are discussed. And the first-hand data was collected through questionnaire survey, and risk indicator system of the enterprise application software project is developed by the method of 6 sigma tool and method.On the basis of establishing and analyzing the risk indicator system and model of enterprise application software project, the 3-Dimension model of the implementation method of enterprise application software project is developed. From process dimension, software development process is abstracted into the stages which compose a continued and relative independent process.From the management dimension, the management contents of all levels and aspects of software project management. From technology dimension, the hardware platform, the software platform, and other project management aided-tools are included. The establishment of the model, the analysis of the 3 dimension, and the relations among the 3 dimensions form the implementation method of enterprise application software project.The application of implementation method model is further analyzed, on one hand, enterprise application software project implementation model is established with mathematical modeling tool of Lindo, which provides the basis for the project manager to plan and allocate resources, and the accuracy and effectiveness of the model is verified through a case, on the other hand, through improvement of the model, necessary resources are invested to evaluate and diminish the risk in earlier stages in following stages, so as to quantitatively reevaluate the project risk influencing degree through redistribute and adjust resources.In the empirical studies, with the direction of enterprise application software project implementation model, A SAP applications case in a large-scale enterprise has been researched, and the implementation method is proposed. Besides, a knowledge management model of software project implementation methodology is designed, which achieves the collection, collation, fast searching and sharing of knowledge and cases.The study of risk-management oriented application software implementation method provides the enterprise application software project team with accurate and timely risk identification information, supports project management staffs to rationally allocate limited project resources, timely detect and correct risks in the process of project development, and also helps to improve the success rate of project implementation and satisfaction degree of the related people, so as to lay the foundation for improving competitiveness of enterprises.
