Large enterprises play a very important role in modem economy. However, the development level of large enterprise exhibits vast difference. One key factor which causes this result is the financial environment. This paper is dedicated to analyze the role of finance in the development of large enterprises. On the basis of theory review, this paper first aims to build a framework for theoretical analysis. Then the role of finance in the development of large enterprise is analyzed from the historical view. On this basis, through the practice of development of large enterprise in US, Japan, and South Korea, this paper analyzes the relationship between finance and development of large enterprise from empirical view. Finally, return to the practice in china, the analysis of the development of China's large enterprises and financial support is implemented.
