Land is the basis for human survival and development, as one of the mainreasons of global change, land-use change has been paid more and more attention byglobal change study. After International Geosphere-Biosphere Programme(IGBP)andInternational Human Dimensions Programme on Global Environmental Change(IHDP)jointly coming up with Land Use and Land Cover Change(LUCC) by1995,the study went into orderly stage of development. With the depth of the study, studyof Regional and local area land-use change has became a hot spot of LUCC. Nowsome research projects of regional land-use carried in our country mainlyconcentrated in the economically developed areas and ecologically fragile areas, rarely involved the land resources in the northeast of Sichuan. And the carried studyof regional land-use change mainly used remote sensing image interpretation.combining with socio-economic data to do quantitative and spatial analysis to thestudy area land-use change; The study of driving forces mainly around the timedomain and space domain, mainly based on data acquisition, modeling, result analysisand forecast, carried the systematic study of land-use change and driving forcesseldom and land-use patterns which are based on the geological backgroundconditions of the study areas. So it can make up the blank of this case by carrying thestudy of land use change and driving forces and land-use patterns which are based onthe geological background conditions of land resources in the northeast of Sichuan. And it can provide useful reference and basis for local and other similar areas carryingLUCC study and land sustainable development decision made by government. The thesis is based on the land resource study area of Nanjiang, Bazhong in thenortheast of Sichuan. Combining with land use/cover change (LUCC), agricultural geology, land use zoning and model theory, to carry out the data collection and fieldsurvey of regional geological background of the study area. Systematic analysis theimpact on land-use from regional geological background(stratum, soil parentmaterials, topography and landscape, soil, climate, hydrological); Use the survey dataof land-use change, topography maps, landscape maps, geological maps, soil typemaps, DEM maps, socio-economic data historical documents and data and so on,combining with GIS and statistical analysis software like SPSS, to do analysis for theland-use change in the study area. Using the quantitative methods to make the mainnatural factors and socio-economic factors affects the land-use change of Nanjiangclear. Form a comprehensive understanding to the driving mechanism of land-usechange in the area; based on the geological background conditions, land-use zoning tothe study area. and come up with of land use patterns and coordinated developmentstrategy which can meet the various geological conditions. Provide a scientific basisto land use structure and agricultural layout adjustment plan, the new ruraldevelopment and improving social and economic benefits. From systematic analysis of it, we got the main results as follows:(1) Systematic analysis of dynamic land-use changes of study area①Dynamic land-use changes of the countyA. From the present land-use situation of the study area. Woodland is the primacy ofland use types. The overall level of land use is not high. Diversification andconcentration levels are higher. Land resources with location sense are morecompleted. Have the advantage of the low scale agricultural operations. The countyaverage land productivity is low, economic efficiency of agricultural land is low.B. In terms of the number of land use change, from1997to2009, the types of landuse structure have changed a lot. Land use changes reflected in the garden, grass, urban villages and industrial land and unused land decreased, farmlands, forests, landand water traffic increased;C. In terms of the rate and trends of land use change, in the12years from1997to2009, arable land annual increase of5.5%; garden annual decline of5.8%; woodlandannual increase of1.0%; annual grasslands fell by11.2%; average annual urban landincreased by0.3%; land transport increased by22.0%annually; average annual waterincreased by3.3%; unused annual decrease of7.0%. The comprehensive land usedynamic degree of0.027.D. In terms of land use level, the composite index of land use level of the study areain1997is206.34, and it is224.69in2009,△Ib a=18.35,this shows that the comprehensive land use level has been greatly improved in the study area, the overallland use is a developmental period.②The land-use dynamic changes of townshipsA. In terms of the rate and trends of land use change, there are significant differencesin the townships. The results of single and comprehensive land-use dynamic degreehave shown that the rate of land use change is faster in the center towns dominated byNanjiang in the central and towns dominated by farming in the south and towns withrapid economic development. While it is relatively slow in the forest cover in thenorth of the township.B. In terms of land use level, the degree of land use change△Ib aand the rate ofland use change all shown that the region of high level of comprehensive land use isin the central and towns dominated by farming in the south and towns with rapideconomic development. While the townships of low level of land use change are mainlocated in the northern mountains and the relatively remote central and southerntowns.C. In terms of regional differences in land use, the relatively rate of land use types issmaller in the north, in southern towns, especially in central towns and relativelydeveloped towns, it is larger in arable land, grassland, orchard, urban villages andindustrial land, transportation land, unused land.Part of eastern township and part ofthe southern towns with water system water, the rate is lager.(2) Form the comprehensive understanding of the driven mechanism of local land usechange①Among the impacts of land use in the study area of the natural driving factors, climate (temperature), topography (elevation, slope), soil (pH, the content of organicmatter, nitrogen content), the formation factor and land use changes (comprehensivedynamic degree of land use, land use degree index) are closely related. Landformfactor on land u climatic se effect is the most obvious one, followed by the PH of thesoil and conditions in the average temperature conditions, and the impact of formationconditions, soil organic matter content, and soil nitrogen values is relatively weak.②In the socio-economic driving factors, the population (the township population),economy (gross domestic product of the township) and the level of land use(Land-Use index) are typically correlated. Economic factors on the most obviousimpact of land use, followed by demographic factors, technological and culturalfactors on the extent of the impact of comprehensive land use is relatively weak.③The drivers of land change, including socio-economic development, intensification of agricultural industrialization, population growth and education. Among thesedrivers, a social and economic development impacts the most significant cultivatedland change, followed by the intensive development of agricultural industrialization, population growth factors and education.(3) Based on regional geological background conditions, came up with land-usepatterns that meet local geological conditions and development measuresBased on the results of the regional geological conditions, dynamic evaluation ofland use and analysis of driving forces, the study area is given a layout of agriculturalindustry and divided into the southern Cretaceous, Jurassic tilting single low hills andnarrow valley erosion sets low mountain ridge-like purple aquaculture farming landarea, central Jurassic, Triassic system single mountain, Zhongshan yellow purple soil-the forest-mainly-distributed economic zones and the northern three Triassic, Sinian,Cambrian, Zhongshan yellow&yellow-brown pastoral forest limestone area. On theanalysis of the problems existing in the district production distribution basis, Itproposes to establish the Southern Cretaceous, Jurassic tilting single low hills andnarrow valley erosion sets a low mountain ridge-like purple soil aquaculture farmingareas "If medicine, animal husbandry,""fruit wood grain,""fruit vegetable medicine"and "Fruit tree" model of development, the middle Jurassic, Triassic system singlemountain, yellow to purple soil Zhongshan forest-based economic area than forest-grass-animal, Lin-fruit-Drug ecological model of development, the northern threeTriassic, Sinian, Cambrian, Zhongshan yellow&yellow brown limestone soil forestpastoral lacquer,"Miki" herbs, wax tree, dried fruit and other economic trees, foresteco-development model.
