Usually, there are many kinds of relationships among entities of real complex systems. Entities interact with each other. Complex systems evolve with time and space. On the other hand, some problems involve the part of system and some involve multiple systems.Complex networks is widely used as modeling complex systems. Classical complex networks mainly describe the same kind entities and their relationships. And problems are generally studied in one system. Multi-subnet composited network is one model describing different kinds entities and their relationships. Multiple complex networks could be composited and one complex network could be decomposed into multiple complex network by network operations presented by this model. In this dissertation, by defining vector-composited network, multi-subnet composited complex network model is improved. Topological and dynamical properties are studied. Based on these, empirical studies and applied researches are done. The above studies could improve the development of complex system, which having theoretical and applied significance. The main work in this dissertation include:(1) Research of Multi-subnet Composited Complex Network. Vector-composited network is defined by transforming the relationships into spatial vector. Network operations (Network loading and reducing) of this model are converted into base transformations in multi-dimensional space. Based on this, formalized descriptions of network operations are presented for realizing dynamic reorganization of networks:compositing of multiple complex networks and decomposing of one complex network. Subnet scaling is presented by vector-composited network. Formalized descriptions of network operations helps reducing complexity.(2) Based on vector-composited complex network, relationship-oriented degree and weight of nodes and relationship-oriented clustering and closeness of nodes are presented. For nodes connecting by multi-relationships, length between two nodes in term of tuple of relationships is proposed.Based on the above researches, vector-composited network of passenger transport with high speed rail and ordinary train is established. By applying the topological and dynamical properties of multi-subnet composited network model, some conclusions on the passenger transport network is reached.(4) Traffic dynamic is studied on multi-subnet composited network model. Influence of network operations and topology of network on the traffic is discussed. Public transport and metro composited network of Qingdao is constructed and efficiency of passengers is studied. Some conclusions that if the passengers wait too long in the transfer they would not intend to taking metro is reached. Therefore improvement of design of transfer should be taken into account.(5) Application of multi-subnet composited network model in urban public transport network. By applying network loading into public transport planning, the arrangement of routes are transformed into network of routes loading onto network of roads by considering the volume of traffic and demands of passengers and expected utility of investors. A loading and evolving model of roads network and routes networks is proposed. The simulation model is validated using empirical data from nine big cities in China. Statistical analyses on topological and spatial attributes suggest that an evolution network with traffic demands characterized by power-law numerical values which distribute in mode of concentric circles tallies well with these nine cities.
