The deposit is located in Nan Shan village in the northwest315°of Song Wen country,Vientiane province of Laos. Which is straight away from the Song Wen county about15km,from the northeast of Vientiane nearly120km, apart from the southwest of Xieng Khuangprovince`s capital Phonsavan55km.Mining area`s center geographical coordinates of is:102°56’28"E,18°59’22".The exposed layers mainly contains silurian, devonian,Permian(belongs to Paleozoic erathem)and quaternary(belongs to Cenozoic) layers.Tectonicposition is located in the northeast of Laos`long mountain mineralization belt which belongsto the Indo-China Peninsula`s north part of Asia.The region apparently experienced shellcracking and subduction in Neotethys period,and some other tectonic movement likeHercynian and Indosinian movement.Along with the evolution of regional structure, there area large number of magmatic activities,volcanism and a series of metallogenesis havehappened,and the relationship of tectonic-magma activities and metallogenesis is quite close.In this paper,we select Pa-Li mountain (which is located in the northeast of Laos`longmountain mineralization belt)as the research object.Based on the collection and analysis ofprevious research results, and through the outdoor`s geological survey,we use theprospecting information extraction method to analyze the informations about the regionalfracture structure, intrusive rock mass, and deposit`s distribution regulation; summarize thespace of regional tectonic and deposit.Meanwhile,along with the regional tectonic evolutionhistory,classic iron deposit and its metallogenic characteristics to analyze the relationship andevolution regulation of tectonic-magma-metallogenic; summarize the characteristic andregulation of metallogenic in and around the research region.The main research contents andresults contain:(1)To start a field geological survey and indoor comprehensive analysis, analyzes the characteristics of regional linear structure simply.Based on the superiority of remote sensingtechnology to acquire regional geologic features uses it to abstract Pa-Li mountain`s lineartectonic information.Paper points that the linear tectonic distributed across Pa-Li mountainnearly as South-North and North-West direct,and the tectonic controls the distribution ofmagma rocks obviously.(2)To start an analysis about regional tectonic and the space distribution characteristicsof deposit,sets up the relationship between the tectonic of different space and deposit`spacedistribution.analyzes the distribution characteristics of tectonic,magma rocks anddeposit;states that the relationship of tectonic,magma and metallogenesis is close.anddeposit`s space distribution is subject to the alteration zone around magam rocks.In the sametime,this paper analyzes the Volcanic original deposit in mining area,especially selectPaLaiTong as the classic iron deposit to compare,determines the kind of deposit`s origin andits prospecting target.(3)To start an analysis about the Physical and chemical characteristics in the researchregion.Depends on different mineral and its distribution information of the Pa-Limountain,analyze their characteristics of mineral composition, chemical composition, traceelements, isotope and rare earth,etc.Preliminarily determines the ore-forming material sourcesand their correlation.(4)Establish the typical ore deposit metallogenic model.Through the comprehensiveresearch of metallogenic dynamics process, metallogenic tectonic dynamics process,metallogenic fluid dynamics process and mineralization thermodynamic process in irondeposit of Pa-Li mountain,along with the characteristics of nearby classic deposit,sets up thetypical ore deposit metallogenic model,is benefit for the prospecting.(5)Put forward opinions and Suggestions for the exist problem and research directionin the future of the mining area.
