Zhejiang coastal region, as one of the most developed area in China, whoes economic development has caused a tremendous pressure on ecological system, therefore, it is of great significance to study on the landscape pattern change of land ecosystem for ecological protection of Zhejiang coastal region. This paper takes Zhejiang coastal region as the study area, and analyzes the landscape pattern and its change characteristics in Zhejiang coastal region with three phases of TM remote sensing image in1990,2000and2010. And then the spatial and temporal evolution of landscape pattern under the future scenario is simulated by CLUE model. Following, this study applies the AHP (AHP:Analytic Hierarchy Process) and PSR (PSR: Pressure-State-Response) model to evaluate the ecological health of historical period in Zhejiang coastal region so as to identify future sensitive area of ecosystem health in Zhejiang coastal region; Finally the ecosystem protection system is formulated combining economic, social and cultural information in the study area and cooperate with the field survey of master data, the main research contents are as follows:(1) Landscape pattern and its changes in Zhejiang coastal regionThis study explores the the changes of landscape pattern、forest landscape pattern、wetland landscape pattern in Zhejiang coastal region in1990,2000and2010. The results reveal that the built-up area expansion causes the destruction of forest and wetland, regional environmental degradation and ecological function decline, which provides the required parameters of ecosystem health evaluation in Zhejiang coastal region and identifies the region with worse ecological environment, and those can provide the foundation for the further research on landscape scenario simulation prediction and the ecosystem health evaluation. (2) Simulation and analysis on landscape changes under different scenarios in Zhejiang coastal regionThis study selects the driving factor of the landscape pattern change, and then analyzes the driving mechanism of landscape pattern in Zhejiang coastal region. Finally, it simulates the spatial distribution of the landscape pattern in the future designed the planning, ecological protection and economic developing scenarios. The results indicate that space continuity of forest and wetland landscape under the ecological protection scenario is better than that under the planning scenarios. These conclusions can identify the risk region of ecosystem health in the future, and provide a scientific basis for ecological system studies in Zhejiang coastal region.(3) Ecosystem health and protection in Zhejiang coastal regionEcosystem health from1990to2010is assessed in the Zhejiang coastal region on the basis of historical and future landscape spatial distribution pattern. This study selects the future the sensitive area of ecosystem health in Zhejiang coastal region based the ecosystem health, and identifies the health levels and potential threat of ecosystem health area. Compared the planning and ecological protection scenarios, it reveals the main problems and reasons of the ecosystem sensitive area, which provides the basis for ecological protection measures and system in Zhejiang coastal region.(4) Build ecological protection systemAccording to the ecological landscape pattern change and health evaluation combined with field investigation, this study sets up one ecosystem protection system in Zhejiang coastal region which is one ecological civilization target, three systems including ecological monitoring and early warning and ecological security evaluation, four coastal ecological defense lines, five key protection area. On the above basis, this study put forward the concrete measures of ecological protection in the worse ecosystem health level area and ecosystem health potential threat area to solve the contradiction between development and ecological protection.
