In the geochemical research work ,The rock samples collected in field should be tested for some geochemical data ,which is used for calculations and plotting after some processing. Some geologic and geochemical processes should be inversed in litho geochemistry researches according to the contents, associations and ratios of the elements and isotopes in rocks. The data then will be treated and analyzed, and be dropped in some particular maps.According to the calculated parameters and diagrams obtained above, the relationships of the geologic phenomenon and the elements space distribution patterns could be indicated. Therefore, it is significant to develop a data analysis supporting system for litho geochemistry researches according to the natural way we used in litho geochemical data processing and analyzing applications, which is useful in rock classifications and identifications of the genesis of rock and ore deposit, the tectonic conditions, and the geologic evolution histories.In this research, the natural way in litho geochemical data processing and analyzing applications is understood, comprehended and described using litho geochemistry’s experts thinking processes in real work. The litho geochemical data analyzing supporting system is combined with litho geochemical and regional geochemical survey to be the study object, using the interdisciplinary research methods involving the computer technology, software engineering and geochemistry, which will offer great helps to geologic and geochemical researches.The system includes data analyzing, processing and result displaying modules, which corresponds with the standards of the litho geochemical data processing and analyzing. In respect of problem domain design, the processes of litho geochemical data analyzing and treating are subdivided into three problem domains: data Acquisition, data Management and data show with diagram dropping and calculation report. In respect of system design, map the problem domains above are described abstractly and subdivide again, which then to be the system’s targets by the object-oriented design method. In respect of system structure, the three-tier software architecture thought is adjusted properly into presentation layer, middle layer and data storage layer. The problems generating in this system, which should be resolved, are sorted out into corresponding layers or sub-layers to form some functional modules such as data input module, data processing module and data output module. The problem domains will be mapped accurately into corresponding function points in the system. In the module of sample data management, the geochemical index is quantity valued to be litho geochemical parameters. The litho geochemical diagrams and calculation principles are obtained in various references, the data in which can be subdivided into: major elements, trace elements, radioactive isotopes and stable isotopes.Diagrams in the system are used in geochemical data processing, which can provide a simple, direct and convenient way to reveal the geologic regularities in nature. According to the data features and analysis of the two-variable and three variable diagrams, the data for calculation are subdivided into related parameter calculation of major and trace elements, standard mineral calculation and some associated calculations.In this system, automatic computation of the parameters, automatic plotting of the diagrams and definition and distinguish of the graphic expression of data semantics are implemented. The system resolves the problems in the establishment of diagram coordinates using the reverse Polish expression. The graphic file objects are designed in order to realize the automation of primary data input, diagram and parameter selection, parameter calculation, coordinate transformation and plotting. Besides, the expansibility, high efficiency, stability, readability and maintainability of the system are improved.
