| The Photo-Ionization Efficiency Spectroscopy (PIE) and Ion-Pair Anion Efficiency Spectra (IPAES) of several polyatomic molecules have been measured using synchrotron radiation at the atomic and molecular physics end-station of National Synchrotron Radiation Laboratory at Hefei, China, including the IPAES of benzyl chloride (C6H5CH2Cl), the PIE and IPAES of monochlorothiophene (2-chlorothiophene,2-C4H3SCl and3-chlorothiophene,3-C4H3SCl), and the PIE and IPAES of trichloroethylene (CHClCC12).In the first chapter, the mechanism, experimental techniques and some recent progresses of ion-pair dissociation are introduced. The second chapter describes the experimental apparatus and the theoretical calculations in detail. The third chapter is the ion-pair dissociation dynamics study of benzyl chloride. The IPAES of benzyl chloride in the photon energy range of13-21eV with each step of0.04eV and14.4-16eV with each step of0.01eV were recorded. The IPAES of benzyl chloride in the photon energy range of14.4-16eV is tentatively assigned as the transitions MO16a’-1/6a"-1→np(n=6,7,8,9,10,...).The fourth chapter is the photoion dissociation and ion-pair dissociation dynamics study of monochlorothiophene. The following spectra have been measured: the PIE of2-chlorothiophene and3-chlorothiophene in the photon energy range of8-18eV with each step of0.02eV; the IPAES of2-chlorothiophene and3-chlorothiophene in the photon energy range of10.7-22eV with each step of0.02eV; the IPAES of2-chlorothiophene in the photon energy range of10.7-12.2eV with each step of0.01eV. We analyzes the photoion dissociation channels of parent cation and ten daughter cations (m/z=118,92,79,83,82,69,58,57,45,73, and39). And a set of valence-to-Rydberg state transitions and several series of vibrational excitations are tentatively assigned in the IPAES of2-chlorothiophene in the photon energy range of10.7-12.2eV.The fifth chapter is the photoion dissociation and ion-pair dissociation dynamics study of trichloroethylene. We have measured the PIE of trichloroethylene in the photon energy range of9-21eV with each step of0.02eV, the IPAES of trichloroethylene in the photon energy range of12-22.2eV with each step of0.04eV and the IPAES of trichloroethylene in the photon energy range of15.5-18.7eV with each step of0.02eV. The photoion dissociation channels of parent cation and four daughter cations (m/z=130,95,94,83, and1) are analyzed. And several series of valence-to-Rydberg state transitions are tentatively assigned in the IPAES of trichloroethylene in the photon energy range of15.5-18.7eV. |
