Environmental pollution brought by a great deal of tailings disposed in the process of developing mineral resources becomes one of the most important issues being encountered by the sustainable development of current world. Firstly, this paper conducts better guidance and leading practice in two aspects including the concepts associated with ecological recovery and ecology and agrology. Through the study to heavy metal pollution characteristics in tailings disposal location, to mainly master weathering and oxidation laws of heavy metal elements in tail sand, leaching change laws of heavy metal, space distribution of heavy metal elements and composition of heavy metal in tail sand, and then it is helpful to effectively control the pollutions caused by the release of heavy metal in tailings, meanwhile, this paper explores the feasibility of reclaiming tailings dam into agriculture land and conducts non-soil reclamation application study and provides theoretical references and technology guide for the reclamation of copper tailings dam and pollution treatment.
