This article adopts the theory and methods coalbed of methane geology, hydrogeology and groundwater dynamics, based on the analysis of the southern Qinshui Basin geological and hydrogeological data, the model of3#coal seam of the study region, the geological model and hydro-geological was established; through theoretical analysis and numerical simulation to identify under different geological conditions in the drainage process, the pressure to pass laws and the single well control area; a detailed analysis on the study of reservoir area and the geological characteristics of coal ash content in the thick, determined, permeability and buried depth, roof lithology, geological structure, including gas, reservoir pressure for influence in the study the main controlling CBM exploration potential geological factors, these factors are categorized, quantified and superimposed using GIS and ANN evaluation model established between the analysis of the main controlling factors of CBM capacity-capacity potential factor, and the capacity of the study area the potential for prediction.The result indicates that ShiZhuangNa block potential for productivity in the west and lower in the east, prediction results and CBM exploration actual match, prove evaluation model is reliable.
