Xinqiao copper-sulfur ore mine is one of the large open-pit mines in China. After thirty years of open pit mining, a high and steep slope has been formed which has upper and lower relative vertical difference amounting to 398 meters in No.1 main ore-body, now the mining safety has been threatened seriously by the high slope.For further construction of digital mine, the geological environment database has been built at first. It contains four categories:the basic geographic data, the enviornment thematic data, the monitoring data and the engineering data. Based on Arcgis desktop system, the feature sets and feature classes have been designed in detail according to the spatial database standardization. Then the intelligent detection monitoring and alarm system have been designed successfully for the unstable slope and and the 3D stratum model has been constructed which gives fresh impetus to slope stability analysis. At last, the strain rate distribution map and the stability of distribution map have been drawn according to various geological environment factors and monitoring data.The studies are done by smart monitoring,3D geological modeling and slope stability analysis. The main research contents and result are as following:1) According to site monitoring results, the author has collected data about terrain、 deformation monitoring、geological drilling and related physical and mechanical parameters. Through which the Object-Oriented slope geological environments database is established. The database gives a detail classification about slope geological environment. It describes the spatial distribution feature about digital elevation, strata, landslide, karst caves and monitoring points etc. in detail.2) Relied on the integration of Arcgis desktop system and Gocad,3D visualization of the slide has been realized and the 3D stratum model has also been constructed. It provides reliable resource and platform for the further research of the slope.3) The deformation monitoring system has been designed and the monitoring data has been analysed in detail. The deformation factors have been calculated and the BP packet model has been established to study the spatial distribution of slope deformation.4) Considering the influence of static and dynamic factors, the author has made a detail study of all affecting factors. The distribution of slope stability has been calculated out based on GIS and AHP.
