Short-leg shear walls are continuously improved after practice, and graduallydeveloped a kind of suitable for high-rise residential building structure, and its layoutflexible,better building function, the structure stress and the engineering cost are morereasonable, but short-leg shear walls don’t have much experience in earthquake zonesapplication, the lack of in-depth research and practical strong test, high-rise buildings inthe technical specification for concrete structures of the structural anti-seismic designrules, however these more stringent strict rules of whether reasonable remains to beproven. On short-leg shear wall structure of the seismic performance test systemresearch and theoretical analysis, can perfect design theory and norms relevantprovision, establishing a rational mechanics model can facilitate research theirmechanical properties. Based on the above objectives, this paper mainly completed thefollowing job.1. Using1:2reduced scale model,6T-shaped,6L-shaped short-leg shear walls,2T-shaped ordinary shear wall specimens were designed and carried out quasi-static test.Through testing the phenomenon, stress, deformation, stiffness, ductility and energydissipation, stress and strain etc, studied the detailed analysis of short-leg shear wallsbearing capacity, deformation ability, energy dissipation capacity and failuremechanism, defined the seismic performance, failure mode and weak positions ofshort-leg shear walls.2. Established nonlinear finite element analysis model of short-leg shear wall,verified the reliability of model, studied the affection of the concrete strength,reinforced strength, reinforcement ratio, stirrup strength, volume matchs stirrup ratio, axial compressive and other factors to the short-leg shear walls on limit bearing capacityand the deformation affected, expands the experimental conclusion.3. Through test hysteresis curve and the restoring force model to research andtheoretical analysis, established a suitable restoring force model for short-leg shear wall.Provided reference to structural elastic-plastic time history analysis. By "pseudo-staticmethod", presented a model of handling method of fold point, deduced a unified formformula, accurately got precise appearing moment, improved integral, and facilitateprogramming.4. According to the principle of eccentricities, join considering tensile steel withina range.Deduced calculating formula of normal section of short-leg shear walls, thecalculation formulas of calculation results and experimental results through comparisonof the rationality. Considering longitudinal reinforcement, the influence of flange andsecurity reserves, introduced two unknown parameter on revised inclined sectionbearing capacity formula, given the lower limit bearing capacity through a large numberof test data regression statistics calculation,provided a reference to perfect standardedit of short-leg shear walls.5. Introduced the mechanical model of short-leg shear walls, through the analyingtest data, point out that the extracted considering the more perfect l analysis modelshould be given the influence of the shear lag, give matrix of the unit. Simplified thewall itself, through the analysis, extraction and calculate of test data, fitting the axialcompressive bar restoring force model which controled eventually destroying, provideseffective methods for similar research.6.Based on the limits of the internal forces destroyed the equilibrium condition,derived theory of axial compression ratio formula of L-shaped reinforced concreteshort-leg shear wall, then on the T-shaped and1-shaped. Suggested the axialcompressive ratio of short-leg shear wall of the current specification. Based on theanalysis of a large number of literature are given arrangement, list of short-shear wallsseismic grade, maximum height. Systematically discussed key points of the design,calculation analysis method, structural layout characteristics, design problem ofcoupling beam in this paper.
