Taking the Project-Slope、Bank-Slope of Camel-neck Hydropower Station and Tunnel Surrounding Rock of Dashankou Secondary Hydropower Station in the Tarim Basin red layer as example,this paper has studied stability of the soft-rock’s slope and tunnel soft surrounding rock of Hydropower control project in arid area, hoping to form an calculation theory or method for other similar project reference., which would has a certain guiding significance for design and construction of the soft-rock’s slope and tunnel soft surrounding rock of Hydropower control project in arid area.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)This paper has studied the distribution characteristics、mechanical parameters and the water-rock interactioning mechanism of the soft rock in arid area. Because the soft-rock’s softening coefficient is low, the presence of water in the soft rock is critical for the soft-rock’s mechanics parameters. Because of all the year round in a dry state, the mechanics properties of the soft-rock in arid area have significantly different from in other regions.(2) For the soft-rock’s project slope, on the basis of site survey and testing, taking unloading rock mechanics theory and three-dimensional finite difference method, this paper has calculated and analysis the stability of the right abutment Project-Slope of Camel-neck Hydropower Station in different excavation or anchoring way, which was located in Xinjiang Kuche County in Weigan River, puting forwards that the steep slope excavation method can be used on the soft-rock’s project slope beyond the conventional, which will reduce the excavation volume and investment.(3)Taking the bank-slope of Camel-neck Hydropower Station for example, this paper has studied the soft-rock’s bank-slope. On the basis of the analysis of the impact on the phreatic line which was tsken by the water line location, the bank-slope’s stability has been analyzed and evaluated by using the two-dimensional finite element software, which was in the situation of present and that water level was changing. On the basis of summarizing the test research results of the soft-rock’s physical and mechanical parameters which has been done by predecessors, in combination with the project operation mod, this paper has predicted performance and stability of the bank-slope in future, puting forwards the reinforcement measures.(4)For studing on stability of the tunnel soft surrounding rock, to the tunnel of Xinjiang Dashankou Hydropower Secondary Station in soft rock Stratum as an example, taking the unloading rock mechanics theory and three-dimensional finite difference method to calculate and analyze the process of deformation and stress distribution of surrounding rock during the excavation or supporting, this paper has evaluated the stability of surrounding rock, and proposed the excavationprogram which was constructed of the sub-top and bottom, and put the corresponding supporting suggestions for different rock properties.(5) Using VC++to write AutoCAD To ANSYS3D modeling program, this paper has achieved the rapid construction of the point、line、surface and body in the AutoCAD2007platform, generating ANSYS command stream file by the program, thus greatly reducing the cycle of the ANSYS three-dimensional modeling, improving the modeling efficiency.
