With a view to the small arms phylogeny, the development course includes in air, underwater, amphibian, and across medium, the weapon adaptability is better and better. The amphibian small arms is studied, and it’s of important significance and extensive investigative worth for a seaside, streamy, has many islands and reefs country. The primary disquisitive content and achievement are as follows:Based on the review of development of internal and overseas small arms, the technique and using characteristics of internal primary weapon equipment, the whole design precept of amphibian small arms is put forward.5.8mm caliber is chosen,5.8mm ordinary bullet is used in air,5.8mm underwater bullet is used underwater, one gun two bullets mode is confirm, the land capabilities are more important than which underwater. The variety of weapon equipment can be reduce by use 5.8mm caliber bullet, the amphibian purpose is adopted to current war mode, one gun two bullets mode is accepted because of the actual technique.The amphibian rifle is designed. Because of the shooting precision can not satisfy with request by auto mechanism forwards launch, reducing resistance and launch energy are also required, waiting for launch with close bore is a good method. According as vessel and interior ballistics simulation, the auto mechanism and vessel are designed, settled piston with long displacement is chosen, also the energy is matched. The energy switcher is designed. The bullet loading routes of two kind of bullets are researched and realized in one rifle.The hydrodynamics theory is analysed, basic control equations, wall functions and cavitation models are all introduced, then the reasonable simulation models are confirmed. The influence of velocity, temperature, and water depth to cavitation criterion is discussed; The water resistance characteristic is researched, the relation curve between resistance and cavitation criterion is obtained; The cavitation configuration is analysed by different structure such as cylinder, cone; The project structural parameters are obtained by simulation results such as diameter, shape, length etc; One kind of underwater project is designed, include structural parameters, launch powder choosing, and range.The amphibian small arms design is accomplished, some samples are produced, so much examinations are finished, they are static state test, velocity test, pressure test, auto mechanism and vessel test, precision test, range test and penetrate test. The design correctness is proved by examinations, many conclusions are gained.The future war mode is discussed, some kinds of amphibian weapons which maybe used in the future are put forward, such as amphibian grenade launcher, amphibian knife gun, crossing medium bullet. Their technology difficulties are described.
