The hybrid control technology of parallel plug-in HEV is researched in this paper, which is sponsored by the state “863” high-tech program(No. 2011AA11A224) “Industrial technology research on the Besturn plug-in hybrid electric vehicle”.The research object is two motors parallel plug-in hybrid electric vehicle, and the target is to realize the industrial hybrid control functions, which focus on the vehicle fuel economy, driveability, safety, environmental adaptation. There are five parts of contents were proposed in this paper.(1) Powertrain parameters matching work is carried out based on the two motors parallel plug-in hybrid system configuration. As for vehicle power performance, fuel economy, driveability and other more constraints targets, the key parameters of engine, drive motor, BSG motor, HV battery is optimized. The vehicle simulation model is built by using Cruise software, and the rationality of parameter matching is verified through simulation analysis.(2) The hybrid control strategy research is carried out based on two motors parallel plug-in hybrid system configuration characteristic. The driver torque calculation, vehicle mode management, vehicle energy management and dynamic torque coordination is developed based on the requirements of vehicle products. At the same time, the research is mainly focused on the effect of driving cycle on fuel economy, and a auxiliary energy management strategy based on drive cycle recognition is proposed.(3) To solve the hybrid vehicle driveability problem, the vehicle driving mode transition and AMT shift gear process are mainly researched. In this paper, a motor active damping control method is proposed in order to improve the vehicle driveability.(4) Focus on the hybrid system, the hazard and rating of hybrid system function failure is identified by using functional safety standard ISO26262 and the corresponding safety goals is set. In order to universal covering safety goals, the safety mechanism and safety monitor function is designed.(5) The plug-in hybrid vehicle parameters calibration technology research is carried out. The Plug-in hybrid special features and performance requirements is analysised. Through the powertrain test bench and test vehicle, the parameters calibration work is carried out, including fuel economy calibration, power performance calibration, environmental adaptation calibration, etc. Through the specific calibration work, the development Process and calibration method of hybrid electric vehicle calibration is summarized out.
